The makers of the game deserve an award for that! I can't remember the last time something happened in a game/video that made me straight up gut laugh like that.
I still find it hilarious that Apprso is so traumatized from his other solo space adventures that he skips the slowly going crazy part and immediately starts talking to a dead guy.
I absolutely thought you shot Neebs off into the Core when he didn't answer! I thought, how are they going to work him back into this story!? In typical Neebs fashion though, he gave us the best Surprise ever!
Wow what a nail biter! Legitimately broke my heart thinking corpse Neebs wasn't in the ship when it launched and then that 'surprise!' was the best ending ever. Talk about a rollercoaster of emotion!
Same here. The sudden ejection took me by surprise that I didn't think of what was attached to it. Thank goodness Neebs was just fine, would be a total tragedy to ruin the dynamic.
I'm a 64 year old, disabled Grandma who can't explain to her family what it is she loves about Neebs Gaming. Watching merrily for hours and hours at a time, cackling wildly from my room doesn't help, I suppose. But that final "Surprise!" really surprised me, and may convince them of your comedic genius. Thanks, guys I love you. I gotta go watch Doraleous and Associates again. See ya!
Oh man that SURPRISE! at the end got me! You guys are doing great on this series. I'm really enjoying it. Thanks Neebs Gaming team keep up the great work!
My head cannon for this series: Appsor cannot cope with the loss off his grandfather. When the ship crashes. He felt guilty for loosing his grandfather, so he found a replacement (Neebs). He went crazy with low Oxygen and loneliness. So he created Neebs as a companion. He jumps through several mental hoops to justify why the Corpse is not moving. He Tells him self that the guy is just paralyzed, and what not. Appsor even goes so far as to have his new friend take the place of his late and missing grandfather. he does this to cope with the fact that he is alone in space, and will probably never see his grandfather again.
That ending was amazing. The thought that he'd just sent his only friend to certain death followed by the "surprise!" that Neebs had been trying for effect the whole episode. * *chef's kiss* *
Somehow I get the feeling this is how Neebs and Appsro are going to be at old age, at like 90+ years old, and some nut decides to make retirement homes in space that will eventually be turned into space colonies.
@@tazstidson4231 Fair... By then we'd already have prosthetic bodies like out of Ghost in the shell... Which makes me think they'd get prosthetic bodies to look like their Ark avatars. XD
Loving the series so far. FYI, if you hold down left ctrl, it will stop your movement and you won't have to constantly correct to stay in one place. Edit: I meant left Alt, my bad.
Was waiting for your reaction to the extraction point. Hearing Neebs sounding like he's taking off had me rolling. 🤣 I've played this before, but haven't finished it. Glad you are doing this series.
I love the sound design on the voices on this channel. Every environment is thought about. Radio tinny sound. Echoing in an empty chamber or cave. Distortion when speaking underwater. And so many more too.
That ending was so sad and funny at the same time! Sad because Appsro thought they were going home. Hilarious because Neebs made him think that he was dead!
I dont think I have ever laughed so hard at a YT video, from the moment Appsro launched the ship and start calling for Neebs even after the explosion, then the surprise in the end was just icing on top of the cake. Great series so far guys, thank you.
I've seen at least 3 or 4 different comments offering different buttons for stabilizing in space, so I thought I would toss my hat in the ring. Appsro, if you hold Alt-F4, you will stabilize in space to make harvesting and grabbing items easier.
It’d be pretty cool if they did an Easter egg where the floating corpses suits where different colours corresponding to the Neebs crew colours and maybe named the computer that narrates TK-44. I don’t think it’d take too much.
I purchased this game the other day after watching the first episode of the series. Appsro's taste in video games is spot on. This game rules! Highly recommend buying it!
Hope he learns to put the balloons where he plans on working instead of halfway between stuff. I mean, resources are infinite and he can do what he wants but still... Also hope when he builds a base it's extra cool and has a view.
