Building An Unstoppable Ant Army 

The thing that everyone wanted. DF playing an ant game.

Its nice seeing more appearance of df's editor.

Reminds me a bit of SimAnt from the mid 90s. Though that did try to simulate behaviors and colonies a bit more, and had a conquest mode where you could take over the back yard then invade the human's house. I found out by accident that you could posses the spider in that game, and would use it to impair the red colony early on to help me build up.

DF, you realize that you didn't need to restart... You just didn't have anyone set to gather leaves, you had them set to make leaves into mushrooms. So they were likely just wandering around waiting for you to assign them some viable task...

This game has so much potential. If this wasn't a mobile game this would have been a great RTS game

Imagine if as humans there were “human” sized creatures looking down on us “ants” that would be so unsettling

DF always sounds simultaneously relaxed, and about 3 seconds from killing everyone in sight

Day 45 of recommending "The Perfect Tower 2", it’s a semi idle tower defense game with a lot of things to do! p.s. you get to kill a lot of cubes, and if u grind to late game...well i wont ruin the surprise

I've been wanting a SimAnt 2 for a long time now. This isn't quite the same, but I will still treasure it. Edit: Actually, it's extremely similar. Crazily so, even down to the death animation. Like this was made by someone that absolutely loved SimAnt.

Love how realistic this is, there is a real species of ants that collects leaves to feed their mushroom colony! The worlds first farmers!

As you play the game a bit more, you get to see resin, place a rally flag for your soldier ants and gather the giant creatures and add them to your army...they will help you to fight during pvp...there are some rare bugs which only come during a special event in-game...

Ah it's good to see someone was inspired by Maxis (Sid Meier) and his SimAnt game. It was amazing how complex that game was back in the day, and it's good to see that there's a spiritual successor of sorts.

Tried this game years ago and ditched it because it was basically a pay to win grind fest not interested in offering free players a fun experience.

I just had to get rid of the rest of my energy for the day. I get this burst of joy and energy before sleep sometimes. Tiredness always hits so rough, I wanna get back up and be dumb. But once I’m down I can’t get back up. :( btw this energy lasts from 30 minutes to a hour probably more idk I never look at the time.

I'm not for sure what games you play DF but maybe you could try some other random games like Ark,gta 5,state of decay 2,minecraft. I came from ur stardew videos and watching some of them made me feel a lot better

Ah a new youtuber to start the game as i the beta player will try to watch new players and enjoy of life watching themo being new to the game Pro tip: always get aphids for honey dew upgrades also always equalize the amount of workers in each job so u can get more resource from each party

All ants are female. Other than when the queens fly out, male ants don't have a reason to live. Once they get a queen impregnated, they die. The workers and warriors are all female

erm, DF? the ants are all female except when breeding season is upon them, the Queen creates males to send off to other colonies, so technically, their all your sisters bug :) xxx

Iv’e played this game over 2 years ago because someone told me about it and i got pretty far but no that far i did get further than DF though

this game went downhill after they added clans the makers of the game also didnt care about peoples concerns when stuff happened that was a problem

will you play hero's hour, it has some mechanics like making units out of air or stealing them or dealing tons of damage with weaklings

The fact there's only a handful of people in these comments that recognise this is just a mobile copy of SIMant makes me feel old as hell
