I‘m 70% Percent of the time a paper modeler and you never want to make a track out of paper. For my M3 Stuart: 2000 Parts for two tracks. 300 of the Parts, I had to cut out with each about 15 cuts, then 4 slight cuts to fold the parts, after folding I had to paint them on all 19 cuts with a felt pen and then I have glued them each one two times. At the end, I had after about 20 hours at 6 days only the teeth’s. Ten days more to make all the other Parts and glue them all together to have after concluded 16 days 450 simple Parts which I later only had to glue together.
Nice to see a 1/35 scale in your lineup of builds. I have the T90 with full interior in my stash which has a lot of similarities to this build. I'm not looking forward to those 'workable' tracks but we will see how it goes. Have you ever tried highlighting or color modulation? It's a great way to add some visual variation to a monotone model
i cant help but ask myself where you got the info on ammo from, ive only heard bad things really (at least most of the times) happy birthday and it looks great btw
also, you can change distance and air pressure to make it spray smoother. you should also do light coats, NOT going to hard on the paint release trigger btw what colours do you use, like from which company because tamiya xf paints are really forgiving
Happy Birthday Peter! The model is incredibly well detailed and you did a fantastic job of building and painting it. I was impressed with the track assembly method and the detail on them. Thanks for sharing this and have a Merry Christmas.
Those awful individual track links again . Give me link and length or glueable rubber band tracks any day . Modelling is about enjoyment and fun and this tedious and brain numbing exercise of assembling them is neither . Shame but l'll pass on this model .
as someone who has built this kit myself i can reassure you that the tracks are absolutely amazing and genuinely fun to put together , also miles better than whatever rubber tracks have to offer
@@vetronxonblitz4078personally I don’t like tracks where I have to glue the guide horns into the track or whatever it’s called. But I like doing link and length tracks as those look just as good and definitely better then rubber band tracks.
