A perfectly woke society of a total balance of ethnic diversity, 50% LGBT, frumpy women dressed in manly clothing, effeminate men worrying about town safety, no crime, prostitution, sexualization, drugs or edgy humor at all. 30 year old virgins collect exotic flora and fauna and listen to radio plays and hang out in deathly silent bars playing board games. There are of course those who refuse to live in such a society, who openly admit to liking tits and, partying and cracking gallows jokes. Those people are banished from civilization and became known as the outlaw faction.

that would definitely explain it. tis quite the shame the Mass Effect franchise had to die for this game. although it would be interesting if there was a possible tie in that could imply that it's within the MEverse. But it would appear this team (or whatever intity governs it) is far more concerned with milking as much money as possible out of this game and they don't believe expanding the story will do that

​@@ninjawannabe87 Mass Effect isn't exactly dead, but, ironically, Anthem needs to be a success at some point for Mass Effect to survive. Word on the grape vine is that Mike Gamble and Casey Hudson are mapping out a new ME, but Bioware have to turn around or else EA are going to pull the plug on them. Bioware are going all out on fixing the Anthem mess right now, so we'll see what happens. And boy oh boy are they idiots if they don't tie in Anthem with ME at some point. It would be so simple and get so much buzz going, even if they started out by dropping subtle hints like a possible link between the Anthem shapers and the Prothians. Maybe some wall reliefs in a shaper structure that represented primitive humans before they were taken from earth to the Anthem planet experiment and maybe some illustrations that looked a bit like primitive Asari. Fans would go wild. They'd be shooting themselves in the foot not going down that route.

I picked up the game on playstation for 10.49 with some DLC content, playing it right now and it's pretty good
