The brickmaking process is: Shove some clay into a brick mould, then come back 20 minutes later to find that they have all been baked in a brick oven. It's marvellous.
Oh,yay, I just happened upon some sharp " sticks that will help me build a wall by driving them with my 20th century axe!( If you look close enough you ll find # 6 to 16penny sharp " sticks"in my magic jungle! 14:14
If anyone thinks that you can bamboozled me with BS that an 89 lb. female just dug out *5 YARDS* of hard soil *BY HAND* with a *SURVIVAL POCKET SHOVEL* all by herself....well, I got the world's highest and tallest mountains to sell you in Saskatchewan! And, talking about a massive mud pool to happen on the first monsoon, good-luck with the mud baths !!!
I live in the pacific northwest so I'm jealous of the abundance of dry materials available to her. Here you'd have to work in the rain and any hole you dug would fill up with water
I admire her craftsmanship,, No tape measure. A stick to measure. A hatchet, handsaw and nails, oh yes staples. Amazing cozy place ☺️☺️ Let me see an American woman do that!! Build the house Cook a wonderful meal. She can servive in the woods and. NO TAXES Peaceful lifestyle. Bless you young lady. 😀
It's barely allowed in the US. You can't just go into the woods and make a house in the US. Everything requires licenses and permits. I doubt any police will arrest this lovely woman. Try it in the US and you best not get caught. I once saw a sign on a damaged tree in NYC with a police department's phone number because they were searching for the guy who harmed it. Wish we could do things like that here smh
Pat on the back to the architect supervising this project and the off camera crew that does most of the work. Some of us know that there is a crew helping so they should get some credit as well even though we don't see them.😎
Why's that? She's out more work into that shelter then most men do for themselves when doing the same thing. Because she's a woman she can't do it alone without help? Bro you need to wake up and realize that woman are more capable then any guy in this planet and that's facts.
Nice job on the interior. I was particularly impressed with the fireplace and brick floor. Unfortunately, from what I saw, nothing was done to keep the rain from coming in through the roof. You have to have a starter course and overlap by just over half with the shingles. The other problem is the stairs. They need to be covered for the rain, or they're going to turn into a mudslide.
WOW! U r a Warrior!!! I had to laugh at some of these slightly critical comments here bc what it takes to do what I did is brilliant! It’s all something to b admired
I like to know if there is any type of pine trees there? pine trees are very sappy and create pine tar when they die . Pine tar is very long burning if you find a dead or dying pine tree cut the branches at the trunk if the wood is red or pink that's pine tar if you use that as fuel for your fire depending on the size it can burn up to 6 hours. Pine tar is found at the joints of branches and at the base of dead pine trees don't use fresh pine aka green pine in a fire place the fresh sap will explode! the resin has to dry up to be safe. Best dead pine are greyish in color to have good pine tar.
It's not humanly possible for a single person to dig this elaborate of an underground shelter alone. Her poor hands would be blistered up in just a few minutes. Just look at how hard this soil is and that's just top soil. I have no doubt there is a large crew of people with heavy duty machinery that dig this. There are so many channels that try to replicate the original but they use other means to do so. This is nothing against the young woman in the video whatsoever. What you see isn't always what's really happening behind the scenes...
Where are the tracks from the equipment you say was needed and where are the openings in the jungle to get it there? Stop being so damn smug in thinking only you know how this was done. It is time-lapse photography constantly jumping around during the process and skipping hours and days to shorten the video. Get a life
That's why I 💕 this woman shelter building skills, she goes that extra mile I'm loving them brick flooring, baby you are a true goddess 💓 big fan! stay safe and keep up the excellent work!
All she needed was a sleeping bag, pillow, and a set of clothes, a complete set of cookware, a plate and a mug, fresh ingredients for 2 hearty meals, water to drink, keep herself looking fresh AND make mud to build the house, foam rolls enough to side the entire house, roof paint and brush, an axe, a saw, a spade, a bucket, hinges, lockset and a few hundred nails. Her backpack is amazing! I think there's enough space for some light makeup too.
@@user-he1ff9fs9n What are you on about? I'm talking about her backpack. And Ive said nothing bad about her - and her teams' 'incredible' effort to construct this. In fact I have to applaud them and many other extremely similar RU-vid channels for their ingenuity. Bravo.
@@user-he1ff9fs9nyour spring-loaded-to-offended ignorance is showing, karen. You obviously have no idea how many horrible deficiencies there are to this "build"
I think that this was done in Cambodia as the clothing label on her pants is from a Phnom Penh. This was a heck of a lot of work but the build came out really well. Nicely done!
So because you couldn't do it without breaking a sweat, she can't either? dozens of men do these type of builds on youtube and nobody doubts their skills and dismiss their abilities. Just come out and say you don't think a woman could have done this all by herself. If you watched the whole thing you'd see that she does everything. the only thing that looks pre done is some of the wood cuttings.
That's a staggering amount of work and quite impressive. My only issue is the roof, too many gaps to keep the rain out. If she planned on using non-in-situ materials like the black moisture barrier on the outside, it would have been good to also put a similar layer under the shakes she made for the roof, then she would stay dry when it rains. Impressive craftmanship otherwise.
That's why they avoided any clear shots of the floor inside the shelter on day two. You could clearly tell it had rained overnight by the puddles outside and the muddy floor on the inside. I suspect that in really heavy rain the whole shelter would be little more than a bath tub or small swimming pool.
@@ronbuckner8179 1:32 you'll also notice a shadow from someone else who was off camera. It moves at the same time you hear what sounds like someone walking in dirt. Most of this stuff is a group of people pretending to be 1 person. Also... adding water to dirt to make clay? Nope... You can see the original dirt under that mound of clay. They're not even close to being the same color. These videos don't seem to try to hide junk like that.
That hole would be filled with sweat, if i built it. Glad to see she is immune. And its AMAZING how she managed to hand saw all the roof tiles to the same thickness! Norm Abram has nothing on this lady!
I enjoy these types of videos so much, despite the massive jumps in completion. I really wish that someone would show a full time-lapse video of the work...if it really is true. Never seems to happen, though. Love the design, either way.
That's because they would then have to show all of the JCB's etc doing the actual work before them bringing in a girl with big tits to look like she built it all.
Check out one of the original guys who's done these for years, primitive technology...br surento turn on the captions for a description of what he is doing. John has done some cool stuff
If they did time-lapse you would see the large crews and machinery they use to make these videos. Makes for a better video if you think one person alone engineered these structures. I still like watching these type of videos though. Primitive technology who popularize this type of craft is one of the legit channels that do bushcraft. A few Asian countries after Primitive technology's channel take off noticed an opportunity to make some money. These type of videos start popping up all over the play with some really neat structures while trying to make it look like a one or two man crew did all the building. Many of these videos have been proven to be staged with a large team and modern equipment being used. I still like the idea that hey I could do that.
Oh yeah, I used to watch those videos. I remember him making a smelting furnace from scratch. Thanks for the reminder to check his stuff out again. His videos always showed the complete work being done, without these jumps to perfectly machined holes in the ground.@@northernKaizer
After watching a number of your videos your skill is second too none . You must put a lot of planing and thought into each of these shelters. Stay safe
@@tre4og180 actually got a strike on my channel for calling them out and putting up a link to a video proving that a lot of these primitive channels are faked.. smh
or complety with a bush hand saw, did you notice the piles of sawdust when she was suppose to be cutting roof tiles? somebody used a chain saw. But still fun to watch
These videos have long since been debunked as actual survivalist. They are backed by a dozen or so workers who often bring in backhoes and other heavy equipment to dig holes, make paths, bring water, and cut/trim trees. Essentially, it's a construction company trying to trick you into thinking one young girl can build a tropical getaway house in one day, without breaking a sweat or getting dirt on her clothes.
@@paganheart70 exactly they show her cutting one log and then hammering a bunch of nails and for most of the video it’s kind of comical how people think that she actually does this all herself when they had probably a backhoe on site and a bunch of power tools just out of range go figure
Do that much digging here in Georgia. It would take you at least a month even with a team of diggers. Need a tractor for the boulders. Love how soil in Asia moldable and easy to move. Oh and all the wood grows straight.
I thought the same thing. Dig an inch an hour and pry the big rocks out of the way. When the septic tank installers often have to use explosives, then you know the dirt is hard.
Love these videos funny the clay she used for the pavers didn't go the same colour when used for the mud that holds them together for the chimney 😂 not that I believed that she made pavers from mud in the first place 😅😅
Look, lets not pretent that she wasnt getting some help with all the precision cut wood, roof tiles and the premade bricks n stuff, But even still that is an incredibly impressive build to take on mostly solo!!! And by sourcing building supplies probably off local workers she actually using her RU-vid earnings to keep the community going... So all round massive respect!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!
Our ancestors were far more technologically advanced than we are now. We've been purposely dumbed down by the educational system and indoctrinated to believe in the "cave man" scenario, and what that has done is reversed our thinking - we believe WE are the pinnacle of the ages, when in reality society and scientific knowledge has REGRESSED. For millennia, energy was harvested straight from the aether/air around us and powered everything, everywhere all the time. The His-story books are filled with lies.
For anyone who has never done this type of work before, it is exhausting and backbreaking activity. To do all of this with a couple of simple tools is amazing. Her energy level rivals mine when I was 19 years old working on the labor gang at a steel mill over summer break in college. I spent the summer digging trenches in slag pits, running a 90 pound jackhammer, shoveling lime slurry out of railroad cars and shoveling coal. Her skills and energy levels are literally off the chart. An amazing display.
SEVERAL of these so-called "INDIVIDUAL BUILDS" were busted (and removed by RU-vid) as FRAUDS. They had crews that built the dwellings, but the videos were edited as to make the audience believe it was a solo person doing all of the build.
Excellent work & much smarter build than I have seen many men do. A tip though, hold the hatchet farther toward the end of the handle and let the weight of the hatchet do most of the work. Other than that this is encouraging and a great build.
cool build and well done on not showing all that help you had diggging that hole on the ground as I could hear the excavator backing up in some of your sound clips in the backround. I would love to see the behind the scene video with all the help you had to do this. and love all the music chickens and other people you can hear talking in the back round while you are trying to pretend you are out in the woods some were remote building this by yourself. At least be honest about how you are creating these shelters as your work is great but anyone like myself that has done construction for many years in remote locations building log cabins Knows that you did not do this alone and on your own. I mean hell if you are going to try and sell this at least pay attention to all your back round noises in your video as it give's everything away!! sad you could not just be honest about your builds.
shes not dirty enough or sweaty enough to have done this alone, zero cuts scrapes or filth on her face either. She keeps arriving with prepared materials too which is suspicious.
who really gives a fk?. Its the same when someone tries to "debunk" some guys named primitive technology like who really gives a fk, the reason people are watching is because they're curious about the result and to be honest none of them claims to be 100% primitive, and in every video we see that they're using primitive materials and not industrial. So in the end who cares about if they used a few modern tools to help since no one in todays sociaty have a fking clue about how to build things in a 100% primitive way :).
