I miss sleepovers! What fun this was! Loved the pink nails, and the Snuggie Hoodie definitely needed its own moment!🥰😂 Had a fun night with my Hubby that felt like a sleepover. I can't recommend highly enough the books Romancing the Ordinary and Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach. She is the person who (to the best of my knowledge) created the idea of romanticizing daily life, and wayyy back in the 90s lol, these books were life changing for me. They're absolutely beautiful, and I have NEVER seen them recommended on booktube even though they're quintessential cottagecore and romantic living.

I would definitely recommend all of the Shadow Hunter series by Cassandra Clare. Infernal Devices is my favourite but all of them are great and are all linked so you get to catch up with old characters along the way. Lots of magic, adventure, daily life and romance. Highly, highly recommend!

(Fair warning, the first two books are slow but they were written in her early 20s) and the world building by the end is truly staggering. Wonderful video as always. Pro tip, you cant eat chia seeds raw! You must mix them in some water or nondairy milk, and let it sit for a bit to let them expand. Otherwise they’ll expand in your digestive track.

Hi Morgan!!! If you want Jane Austen vibes, and a dreamy bookish series Please try ‘The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion’ by Beth Brower. I know you will love it. There’s intrigue, Victorian whimsy, and handsome men. I recommend ordering volumes 1-3 all at once. You won’t regret it. Once I read these books I just wanted to immerse myself in Emma’s world of St. Crispians in London. Trust me on this. A kindred spirit.

I’m adding on because I know Jane Austen isn’t Victorian, but Emma M Lion mentions Austen along with other great writers as she tries desperately to rebuild a library after her inheritance and library was taken from her. My favorite Austenesque reads are ‘Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict’ and it’s sequel, along with any of the Austen books by Syria James.

I just read The Book of Doors by Gareth Brown and I absolutely loved it! It's about a bunch of magic books that each contain a certain power for the person holding the book. The main character and her friends are trying to stop the wrong people from getting their hands on the books. I really enjoyed it and it was a fairly quick read.

I’m not sure which video you said your house wasn’t trendy but I just love your esthetic! We have a lot of second hand furniture and decor too, for so many reasons! I like an eclectic modern/vintage blend and also we have young kids and now we don’t worry at all about anything getting stained or ruined 😊 Also, you are so right, no one cares about those little things, we only care what someone’s heart is like and yours is pure GOLD! Oh Morgan, this video was such a delight! I am a very early riser and I get so much joy out of watching your videos with a cup of tea and my knitting in my blissful solitude before my family wakes! You are a gift ❤. I think I’m going to dive into A Court of Thorns and Roses too, having just finished the first Crescent City novel - which I loved, but I’m not ready to commit to another 800-page novel yet!

I simply loved Ready or Not by Cara Bastone🥹🩷 Reading this book felt like a warm hug for me. I simply adored it. And right now I am diving into Ali Hazelwood’s books, specifically The Love Hypothesis, which I really enjoy so far. After reading a lot of fantasy, I found myself thriving into the romance/romcom genre.🩵🌸
