With data being the new gold and the need for 24/7 availability, the way you build your storage solution is becoming increasingly important. I will share a story about developing a structured data storage system within one of the largest Dutch banks - a platform that can handle thousands of updates and queries per second and serves millions of records to downstream services.
How do we achieve that, while taking into account high security standards, availability, performance, and maintainability? Together, we will explore how modern yet mature solutions like NoSQL databases, cloud deployments, observability platforms, and automatic provisioning tools can help reach all these objectives.
