Wish I had a ramp like this to learn on, looks so much fun. You've got a good bag of tricks on transition now dude, lines are looking very smooth. Keep the content coming dude, inspires the rest of us to get out there and learn. 👍
@@TheBeefySkater thanks man I def need to work on new tricks but I always get stuck on working on bigger transition with the basics and consistency. Yeah this ramp is 20x more mellow than the one I got at home!! Lol
I like that move. You kick the board to the hand. You can start turning it to a lean to tail I believe. I seem to put my helmet on for tail stall. Feel like I could miss it and land on my head. I don't know fear plays a big part I guess. Keep skating! 🤙
@@benoduartebd i dont mind tail stalls on steep transition but on mellow transition I have a habbit of getting too comfortable and popping backwards out of the ramp and its beyond terrifying everytime 🤣
The ramp looks perfect! I know what you mean with tail stalls, I was scared of committing to them for a while because of bad falls in the past but the more I have done them the more I understand them. There's a slight little pump that I do just before the coping (this works with rock to fakies too) that just starts the trick off and gets your legs ahead of your body so that your weight is still in the ramp.
@@stickersteve007 thanks man appreciate it!!! Yeah its def a super chill ramp great for those days you just wanna take it easy and dial in the basics!! 🤙
Sucks about the mess there, happens here all the time so I can relate. Looks like you had a decent session though! That footplant tail stall thing you were doing is exactly what I was trying to do a couple of weeks ago and ended up tweaking my knee 😢😂 my problem was I didn't even fully make it back up onto the deck 🤦
@@SkateboardingWithYerDa i dont know what inspired me to try it just wanted to try something different and I feel like with some time I can turn it into a sweeper or footplant or something. This ramp is a great place to practice it!! I screwed my knee up on a curb not even sure what I did to be honest I bailed out of a nose stall going fast. But its not a bad one just a little sore.
I like the voice over my dude... you're pretty tough on yourself though... we're our own worse critics... I'd imagine most of us watching just really like that you are getting out and trying.... good stuff
I went to my local yesterday morning and some cockwomble has stoved a whole section of fence down!!! Anyway back to your vid, there’s some great tricks here and a lovely flow to it. Loved the FS and the nose grab back in looks pretty decent to me. Is it a 3ft? Looks similar to ours at Dawlish, I haven’t skated it much recently judging by I have to scroll down my channel a fair bit to find some mini vids. Great edit 👊🏻
@@simonvidetta1976 thanks man!! Yeah shes a real tame 3ft ramp super great to learn on. Only ramp I got majority of my tricks on I dont even have them in my backyard 🤣. I hate when people trash stuff especially skateparks but I was a kid once and def did my fair share of stupidity growing up. Thanks for the kind words man!!

@@fatdadskatesbad the ones at my local are decent, on the mellow side, just kinda feel like the flatbottom is too short. it's def a skill issue on my part more than a defect of design. i just always feel rushed trying to set up, but i never skated transition enough to get comfortable with it yet
@@diplenski yeah its hard man some ramps I can do everything on (almost) and they are 4ft. Other quarters are 3 ft and are so steep I can barely rock and roll them. Def hard moving between ramps I really really struggle with it.
I would take more of a angle for the 5050 and for the backsmith try to put more weight on the back foot towards the you're heel. Yo you got it tho! Looks like the perfect mini ramp
@@NotofthisworldSK8bording yeah I def agree its not the biggest ramp but the angle is def tight looking back on it. Appreciate the tip on the backsmith I feel like I am close but def not there yet I def have to work on it. Thanks man!!
@@fatdadskatesbad That's what I thought. We have one just like it at Tequesta skate park in Weston, FL. I believe they are American Ramp Company ramps. And yes, super mellow transition great for learning.
Start off on the tamest bank you can find and do it 100 times. Then find a steeper bank. Then the tiniest quarter you can find (smallest quarter I found in CT is at scantlebury skatepark in New Haven. And move on from there. Also watch a ton of tutorials JB from skatepark lessons has a good ones. Heres the link! It takes time man but if you work your way up to it you can get it done without getting hurt. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UOpoq-_WrCA.htmlsi=X5_-AuVgAB90eYL2
