One hard lesson I've learnt is if it's expensive to buy, then it'll ever be expensive to replace which you eventually do. A reasonably price quality fitting is sometimes better long-term
If the toilet 4 inch pipe comes from the floor... vertical (s-trap). If it comes from the wall...horizontal (P-trap). P-trap is mostly used in storey building upper floors where the pipe can't be done vertically but some even used it for non-storey buildings. I know people who prefer P-trap, vice versa. Some plumbers aren't good with P-Trap so just be careful who you hire.
What is S & P? Is that Single vs Dual flush? I think it a lot better to get a toilet that flushes for urine and toilet itself(dual flush) than one with just single flush which uses more water. Also Palace home have some good items in their store. I will personally choose the toilet with a wide base for better balance and also wide sitting surface for comfort of use. These days we tend to sit on our toilets long time to use our phones and if you’re going sit there long, you may as well make it comfortable For sinks, they look great with great prices but the ones with built-in cabinet to store toiletries are the best one to choose. I never understood why people buy the ones with only the sink. Where do you store the toothpaste and brush? Dangle it? Anyone that builds.a House ought to have a sink with cabinets for storage of soaps and other bathrooms necessities. I stayed at the house that had no cabinets with sink and bigger surface to place your necessities and I hated using the sink so much. It was Airbnb. The hanging cabinets are also a bad idea as with time, they’ll loosen up and fall off the wall. It needs to always be sitting on the ground for better support
Certain WC designs (shape, mould, size) are better/efficient/convenient....also flushing efficiency, etc. Also P-traps are said to be more efficient (better) if you do some reading. But lots of people are still using s-trap "partly" cus it's the easiest to install
