After seeing the exterior I had no doubt the inside would be just as beautiful. Really like the wood effect floor tiles. Your place is just amazing Denis... well done 👏🏽 👏🏽🙏🏽
My first time in Ghana seeing a very well detailed finishing it so beautiful well done bro. This should be given those that they are building in Ghana to pay close attention to detail finishing it's very important.
Wow Denis 🤩! Your home is well thought out ! Attention to detail and very liveable floor plan - you created a space that will generate good energy and generations of happiness in the space . I’m super proud of you ! Building in Ghana requires serious micromanagement and resiliency ! I’m sure you have a lot of interesting stories about the build journey - 😀Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with us ☺️
Thank you very much for the kind words. Yes, I do have some interesting and not so interesting stories to tell about the build journey. Suffice it to say, this is the most difficult assignment I have ever undertaken in life. At the end of the day, I thank the good Lord for seeing me through.
I see the aquarium!! It’s going to be amazing when it’s all done. I love the chandelier. That kitchen is huge. I like the breakfast area. The bedrooms are spacious. I love everything about this house Dennis.Well done‼️
@@denniscasely-hayford3245 I’m back in the States. Had to leave Liberia early because my mom passed away here in the States while I was back home. I plan on going back as soon as I can. Probably in about 6 months
Well done sir this is one of the best house ive seen made in Ghana with Ghanaian architects with very meticulous attention to details and finishing specially the wood works doors and kitchens bravo to these talented Ghanaian who did the hiuse i just love it no fault at all
Awesome, what a wow,.....this is soo beautiful. I felt the kitchen needed some kit island. Again with the bulbs 💡, I think day light type will Britten the room than the warm type you have there. You've really climed higher. I'm really touched by your outcome....still mesmerised. Regards Mr. Bright from Bright&Clara's channel
Thank you for your comments. I went back and forth regarding a kitchen island. But, I decided with my carpenter that installing an island will rather confine the space and restrict traffic. So, I replaced the island with a breakfast nook table (where the pendant lights are), which to me, serves the same purpose.
@@denniscasely-hayford3245 Thank very much Mr. Dennis, I'm grateful for your response. A little suggestion please eventhough you've already decided, perhaps this might change your mind. A kitchen island of 5-6ft in length and 80ft in breath will be ideal for the kitchen while having the granite top overlap it on the breath side of about 1ft.... Kindly do this experiment and let's see what happens. Respectfully sir. Mr. Bright from Bright&Clara's channel
Very nice carpentry work in the kitchen. Can you you recommend your carpenter please. It’s hard to come by serious and competent artisans in Gh. The finishing of their work is always a let down, but this is good quality stuff 👍🏾👍🏾
There are actually lots of serious and competent artisans in Ghana. You just need the right links and they come at a price. Other African countries always praise Ghanaian artisans for their handiwork. You get what you pay for. Always recruit an artisan based on their past work after you've taken a look personally and not because they're cheap. You'll be disappointed if you settle for an artisan based solely on them being cheap. Good luck!
I totally agree with you Ama! There are so many incompetent “artisans” in Ghana , and the communication is so terrible- oh I could go on and on - I’d love the contact of the carpenter too - but even times the ones who are good will slack if you don’t micromanage them
@@kyekye2K I’m sorry I don’t settle for cheap artisans. I’m one person willing to pay for good quality work, but my problem is not living in the country. You give them money and they tell you stories, initially they will tell you all you want to hear and disappoint you in the end. Please don’t assume I just go for cheap artisans, I have had recommendations from some reputable sources and they’ve ended up feeling embarrassed by the behaviour of their recommended artisan. I believe when you are there it’s different. This time I’m willing to do just that. Thank you ☺️
I’m so obsessed with kitchen spaces. Thats the first thing I wanna see in every home is the kitchen because I think the kitchen should be adjacent to the living room, dinning etc., like in an open space instead of in a room somewhere hidden in the back
I specifically did not want an open kitchen by design. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining room, but it's not open. I don't want the smell of food (Ghanaian food for that matter) travelling to the living room, whilst guests are being entertained. I also don't want all the noise associated with cooking disturbing guests, whilst they are in the living room watching TV, talking, etc. To each his own.
Why is it difficult to give your artisans numbers , than to send you an email, that has been the problems of Africans,we never want to share, just make it open with their contacts and local artisans we be promoted.
The finishing and decoration are absolutely on point. And that's not very common in the houses that I've been checking in Ghana. The doors are impeccable and the kitchen cabinets stunning. Could I please have the contact of your carpenter or the person that did this kitchen? This would help me a lot as I'm just starting building in Ghana. Thanks so much
Finally, a yard in GH with grass and flowers, space for garden etc. Refreshing to see. Not all of the concrete slabs with runoff if it rains. Green space is beautiful and healthy.
one of the few homes I see where the finishings are spot on. A very beautiful home... very impressive. I slso have a home in Ghana, please who is your carpenter I would love to use him?.
It's not a company that built my kitchen cabinets and for that matter the rest of the wood work. It's a talented carpenter. You can send me an email for his contact details. My email address is in the description section of the video. Thanks.
@@Drfauzanosman68 The wood effect tiles were bought from Haiflow on the Spintex road in Accra. I purchased these tiles a while back, so I am not sure you would get the same tiles, if you wanted to.
Kindly send me an email for the contact information of the Carpenter. My email address is in the description section of the video. Sorry for the late response.
I bought them at a home improvement store in Accra on the Spintex Road. The store is called Haiflo. The purchase was made a while back, so I don't think they have the exact tiles in stock.
Bro , well done and ur dream home looks great . Anyway , can I have a contact number for company or the guy who built your show cubicle . I need someone to build similar for me . Thanks
I love how much real wood is in this house, were all the doors made in Ghana? If so is it possible to share contacts for the guys who made them please. Thank you.
Yes, all the wood work, including the doors are made in Ghana. For information on the artisans, kindly send me an email. My email address is indicated in the description section of the video. Cheers.
Hi William, yes, the kitchen was designed by a carpenter. The ceiling is plasterboard, not POP. For information on the artisans, kindly send me an email. My email address is provided in the description section of the video.
