Building in The Sims with items I NEVER use 

What about a build challenge where you have a set amount of time (2-3mins) to "shop" for furniture/lights. Then, you have to build the shell and furnish the house with what you picked out, not being able to go back to purchase other items and needing to use everything you pulled out. Further Info: *During the shopping phase, you can select anything from the build/buy catalogue. If you want more than one of an item, you need to duplicate/pull out as many as you want. Swatches are finalized when the time runs out *If you want a higher difficulty, windows/doors can also be selected during the shopping stage *After the time is up, take as long as you want to build the shell, add wallpaper/flooring, and furnish it using ALL the items you picked out in the shopping stage *Landscape is separately timed (1min), but you cannot arrange it until time is up. Hopefully this all leads to an interesting build~

I swear every time she puts something down and I’m like “oh that’s kinda cute”, she immediately goes “omg that’s awful ew” and deletes it lol

IDEA: Each room has a painting in it, and you have to base the room off of the painting, and the outside can be based off a painting too if you find a good one. (please like this so she can see this, normally I don't beg for likes but I think I have a good idea)

I'm literally using almost every of these items on daily basis! The counters, doors, windows, even the bed. And the plant on the table, the one with lemons/oranges inside? Well, every house has it :D It's funny how everyone builds differently.

I feel like everytime simsie makes a house i really like, she hates it lol. I love this build! so geometric, and the orange black and white is such a fun color pallete!

When I was a teenager I passed out while standing due to being real sick and hit my forehead on a table corner, which needed a plastic surgeon to fix. Your fears aren't misplaced with bad side tables.

One time when I was in kindergarten, I was lying in my bed, and I thought, “what would it be like if I rolled out of bed in my sleep?” So then I purposely rolled myself out of bed, pretending I was asleep, and I hit my eye on my bedside table. And I am so glad my parents decided to put a dull nightstand in my room.

The fact that I use the Fitness Stuff items in almost all of my builds just shows how different players are 😭 The only pack in the whole Sims 4 with items I use more is Snowy Escape honestly

Coffee makers are so damn annoying every time I put one they won’t stop making coffee and then there are mugs everywhere AND they won’t sleep they’ll just try to drink more coffee lmfao I’m AGAINST them at this point 😩🤣🤣

I think this is a gorgeous build, as someone from the Palm Springs area this house would actually fit in pretty well! In the desert you tend to find more modern and mid century homes, as well as flat roofs on buildings

I actually like this build. It's different, modern-looking, and has the realistic vibe of people who have more money than they know what to do with, so they build a fancy home and put lots of weird furniture in it. But it works, and I think you rocked it! Great job. I would love to see more of these funky builds in the future. IF you wanna make a build inspired by that hot pink, cyan, and yellow painting, go for it! You have my support!

This is a really nice house. I wouldn’t mind living in it in real life but I’d definitely change the double bed cuz It’s not my vibe.

I like using that bed for posh girls, rich guest rooms or vacay homes, but it is a very specific style

i love kaylas channel & her sims videos! but she literally _gets to my nerves_ by keep saying "it's weird, omg!" "it's so bad" while proceeds and the building is getting actually good! i just _know_ we'd *not* get along with each other if we were close! 😅😅😅

That's so wild. I like,, ALWAYS use that barstool/counter/bed. I used the bookshelf, dishwasher, and coffee machine pretty often too!
