This video is about the building of Type 97 flying boat.
This Flying Boat was the first large four-engine flying boat designed and built by Japan. I think it is a classically beautiful aircraft.
I am trying to build this model with a sea base on which to take off.This video shows the building of a flying boat.

これ私も作りました。出来はイイのですがハセガワ1/72と価格が同じ位なんですよね。

How did you make the propellers spin? If I remember correctly there was no circuit or wiring inside the model itself. And why does it always have to be the Japanese that most frequently do this? I would like to know how to do it too

The propellers are simply replaced with brass pipes for the bearing to spin freely. This is spinning with the wind from a fan. Maybe you are right and the Japanese like moving contraptions😄 I don't have as much clever skill as others, so this is such a simple idea Thank you for watching!

Would love to get a model of this beautiful flying boat. The H6K was one of my favourite seaplanes ever made. It's a sad thing none were saved for preservation.

I too think the civil aviation scheme is attractive. This model kit has been on the market for quite some time now, so unfortunately I no longer see it on the market. Hope you can get your hands on it! Thank you for watching!

If I built it, I'd give it a civil livery and mix it up with a modern JAL one while using the old J- registration code.
