Wow! Amazing dude! What an awesome Blackmagic cinema camera’s rig. I’m a beginner in this camera usage and wish can learn more to pass my time.. Thanks Bro.. 👍👍👍👍👍🌟🇸🇬
I am certainly only new to the cinema camera scene and will no doubt modify this rig as I progress to suit my needs. I am already thinking about adding a v mount battery and microphone and maybe changing it to a shoulder mount rig.
Nice vid! One question though, how do you plan to focus on yourself when filming talking head style videos while the camera is far from reach ? i'm thinking about upgrading to this camera, but i'm so used to the Canon autofocus system..
I sit my son or wife in the chair and use them for focus but if I am home alone I bring the chair forward slightly then when I sit in the chair I roll it backwards slightly to be in focus.
@@EverythingbySam thanks for the tips and the quick reply? Are you planning to upgrade the battery? Since the battery life is pretty bad with this camera, at least that's what I heard..
I get about 30 minutes out of it which isn’t to bad for my use case scenario as I have 2 extra batteries but I have strongly considered a V mount solution for a while but it’s the cost that’s stopping me from buying at the moment.
This bloke still alive is he? Good to hear from you. I will let you use my FZ1000 if you come back to RU-vid (it has autofocus). I am still very much learning this camera but I have improved heaps since first getting it. I redid those shots with it over and over again to as I improved and wanted to change them.
This is a montage of building the camera out not a tutorial on doing so. Not everyone likes the same content. I personally don’t feel I would need to explain what I am doing as the video is pretty straight forward but if anyone has an queries they’re more than welcome to leave a comment.
Everything by Sam It’s not about understanding what’s going on but more about engagement. To me, a video like this is 10 years too late. It would add a lot more value if you had commented about stuff. What you like and don’t like etc. Of course to each their own. It’s just my opinion and obviously to some people it’s not an issue. It’s not a bad video but it could have been better imo.
The pros and cons of the setup is a seperate video entirely and would be titled as such. I aimed this video at people who might be interested in how to rig the camera or what you can use to rig it. Take your video for instance of the BMPCC4K vs GH5S I personally found that boring, unrehearsed and lack of script seems unprofessional and something I wouldn’t watch but people out there did enjoy it so we are just tailoring our videos to different audiences.
Everything by Sam You purposely went out of your way to attack me and my channel? That’s mature. It’s just an opinion. Don’t get so caught up on it. Different styles for different audiences indeed as you said. No need to attack. I watch dozens of RU-vid videos daily hence my opinion. It’s a boring and dated video. This is what people did 10 years ago on RU-vid or people who don’t speak English and wish to aim for a broader audience. You speak English. Don’t be lazy. Engage.
I didn’t attack your channel. I decided to watch your content to see what you were all about and your direction of video structure. I then told you what I thought about that content the same as you have done here saying from your perspective you found it boring so my content will probably not be for you the same as your content is not for me so do not play the victim card. I chose to do this video in the style I am most comfortable with so just because I speak English but did not feel the need to explain something I believed to be self explanatory I am lazy?
