As someone who has been building custom PCs for over 20 years, zip ties are your friend when it comes to cable management. Take your time and plan our your cable runs. The build looks good.
20 years and you recommend zip ties? are you serious?. Brah that's the worst advice to give it to somebody!!. If you will never do an upgrade sure but come on do you know how risky it is when time to upgrade anything that is associated with zip ties?!! You can accidently cut a wire just trying to cut the zip ties!!
Watching people get their dream builds truly makes me happy, Since i have a literal potato pc and my new components are coming tomorrow I'm super excited. Also, super clean build.
i love the pc and great editing! although there are quite a bit of pops on the voiceover audio so you may wanna try something to fix that. great video nonetheless!
It's a really nice and clean build! The aesthetics are really nice. However you dropped a huge part of your budget on the z790 motherboard; which costs about the same as your 14600k and 4060. Additionally the fans are just under the same price as the GPU... Some people might not be willing to do this but there are LL infinity fan clones available at around a third of the price. I do agree with you that you don't always have to listen to what others do, and that you should get what you want, according to your needs. Though I still do feel that the budgeting here could have been a bit better; if you saved a bit on the motherboard of fans you could have gotten the 4060ti with 16 GB of VRAM, seeing as you play on 1440p it would help a lot. If you saved on the motherboard OR the fans; 4060ti -- double VRAM, 30% more cores If you saved on both; possibly a 4070 -- 4gb more vram, overall a lot faster Still, awesome build!
Nice. My first build was in a Hyte Y40. But it was the Panda one, as the white snow one wasn't available at the time. I'm trying to move to a white H6 right now. (I think I messed up my motherboard that is why I said trying.)
Beautiful build love the white theme goes super well with the Lian Li fans and AERO card. I built my first pc couple days ago Ryzen 5600x Rx7800xt build. Yes I went for AM4 but I was able to build an Ultra 1440p PC under $1,600 Canadian. If I went AM5 was looking at $2,400 so I saved a lot. And AM4 is going strong still even after many years🔥😎
glad you enjoy with your new pc! i just need to wait for 5060 since 4060 is a bad deal in my country (not really great in terms of price to performance) but ive never thought you will pair the 4060 with 14600k😅 (not really bad tho but still too overkill for 4060)
Awesome build! Using a 4060 in my next build and it gets way to much hate! Should it cost $300+ ... probably not but if you can get it cheaper or if its all you can afford or get your hands on then its a solid option imo! But yeah solid looking rig and you got my sub! 😁
I’m looking to get the gpu you used in the video for my first build. Debating between you have and the rtx 4060 PNY version but not sure if there is a difference since they are both 4060
200 for case and 270 for motherboard in a 4060 build and the 14600k is litterely the cpu as a 13600k and just one more thing, the 14600k can handle up to like a 4070 super but still very clean build
Lol I get stuff on sale. Never pay retail price for anything so everything you listed price wise is wrong. I know very much what a 14600k can handle but once again I get what I need and nothing more. I needed a 14600k for video editing AND I got it cheaper than the 13600k. otherwise I would have went amd. But thanks though!
