In this video we're building my new BMX bike from the frame up! I had a ton of fun building this bike & I was certainly due for a new rig, although my last setup served me well it has been through the wringer over the last couple of years. Personally I do my best to build a new BMX bike at LEAST every 18 months as parts stress heavily during hard landings or bails & eventually brake - so I try to avoid that failure point, if possible.
I'm really stoked for this bike as I've chosen a Fly Bikes frame as the platform to build from, this is a frame I've always dreamt of building - I believe Fly is one of the most rad & innovative brands in BMX, their bikes are always thoughtfully engineered. My friends over at The Shadow Conspiracy helped me out greatly with parts for this build as well, which pulled the bike together in a beautiful fashion. I'm STOKED to get out on this new rig.
