Although it sort of felt like I wasn't taking on the 'full' van lifer journey by buying a second hand van that had already been fitted out by the previous owner, rather than completing the build myself, I am starting to think I made the right choice...
This week I attempted to fix up a few things around the van to make it more suitable for my lifestyle; mostly extra storage... If these few projects took me a whole week, I can't imagine how long a whole build would have taken me!
But, it's okay to suck at things. I feel so much more accomplished having given these few projects a go at the very least. Hopefully it also demonstrates that you don't need fancy tools or fancy skills to get stuff done! So just go do it, even when you don't know how!
