Wow after having build a regular type ( chlorinated ) pool I see this video. We are on top of a small mountain with a circular view. My wife is a farmer at heart and I know this would have suited her style much better than what we have. Fantastic - - garden pool !
Wow the lava stone and plants are the wetland filtration, great approach much like aquascapes , they also have bio falls which enhance clarity, nice job guys!!!
Not really, because the gravel in the biofilter is 50cm deep. The water flows outside only a few cm. But the goal is not to heat the water too much otherwise the processes for the formation of filamentous algae increase.
Thanks for sharing this amazing project. What makes me so curious about the level tank. Is the level tank lower than swimming zone or just couple cm above the bottom of swim zone?
I missed your question. Sorry. The level tank is in line with the edge of the swim zone. The water inside is at the same level of the swim zone so I can control the water level from It.
O wow ...I love this ...absolutely amazing❤️❤️❤️❤️ Serious question, I'm looking to make something similar in my home country...in the islands how much am I looking at price wise?
Entrambe vogliono costantemente pulizia.
@@peppevenez thank you for you answer. I am thinking of making a pool which will have liner underneath and flagstone fixed with concrete on top, and was really wondering if the water could muess up the concrete if i put liner under it.
@@peppevenez Only the floor would be concrete and stone. Would i have to waterproof the concrete before I lay the stone? The walls would be sloped of or i would have big boulders where the wall would be steep. Thank you for your advice
Hello, make a natural swimming pool with an integrated regen zone means to have a bio filter with a static water system. It is a good method but it's not good for the climate where i live, a very hot area with a four seasons. My system is a dynamic water filter, the water flows through the lava stone and there is continuous water movement. The green water is normal in a natural swimming pool, it is the effect of unicellular algae, this is possible to tone down with a UV light, but we decided not to use one. 😊
We don't have clay in our area, the liner is the only option to keep the water in. When i write natural I'm referring to the water and the filtration sistem, no chemicals.
@@peppevenez Ya know, you don't have to respond to these morons. If they don't get it, don't sweat it. We who understand what you've done here applaud you as you have created a habitat for so many species. You're rocking it.
Sorry for all the questions, greatly appreciate your time! Do you know the dimensions of the high wall and the shorter wall with the plant filter? The height and width of the steps? Thank you so much!
@@SometimesMonkeysDie i used 2 different pieces of liner, the swimming pool size was 15x6.5 mt, i don't remember the bio filter size, but something similar, maby 10x5. The water level is 80 cm in the lower side and 1.7. Mt in the deepest, it's 3 mt wide. I don't remember the dimension of the steps, we only did 2 with a little platform.
