Make one roof truss, offer it up into place with help, if it fits and looks right take it back down and use it as a template for the rest, just rinse and repeat, that's what i did. I first built a car port and then went on to build a 12m x 8m garage, just measure twice and cut once!

Thank you. I think that's possibly the route I'll go down. What's putting me off that is that nothing is level and the walls aren't straight. I'm going to try and compensate for that with my birds mouth cuts 😬

I wish you the best of luck with the roof. How something can look so simple and yet be so hard to build is beyond me. I've built one apex roof on a home made shed. It took me as long to build as the entire shed. Looked good in the end, but none of the joints fitted properly.😔

I would get local help for the roof. Here in USA we have Amish communities and they are expert at building. Watch any videos on Amish building. They are ultimate off grid lifestyle citizens for generations!!!

Hey Joe, give us a shout if you need extra pairs of hands, just say when. We are in full on problem solving mode here, fitting square things into completely not square rooms, although we’ve never done roofing either, we’ll have a go at anything these days 😂
