“Freakin impossible to get anything done on the house when you are a triathlete”...AND RU-vid vlogger, videographer, editor, dog parents, & TTL owners!
I enjoy the do it yourself attitude that Eric has on everything. Kick ass hard worker’s on about a half a dozen different fronts. There should be a date night video coming sometime soon, right.
Got a chuckle out of "Freakin impossible to get anything done on the house when you are a triathlete". ha ha being a nurse, 12 hr shifts, home owner, dog owner and trying to train, I get it
@Eric which hooks did you use to hang the bikes, I have 808's and 62's on my bikes. Wanted to use same hanging method you used in your garage....BTW Epic F'ing finish this past weekend dude......Kudos from Charlotte NC
Your weekly videos, always cheer me up. This week it really helped We lost our beautiful little French Bulldog yesterday. So we are broken. Feeling a little better after my weekly check-in. I couldn't even contemplate training yesterday. Now going for a run to try to clear my head. Thank you as always for being my pick me up, and inspiration. Give Flynn a hug from us. Beware the dog that only bites you. Once they are sadly gone. Stay safe, see you next week.
Another great video in the books. The biking on the road of packed snow/ice was gnarly. The video of biking on those narrow trails is fantastic! And the garage wall paint is perfect! Workshop area is so cool! Now you have the tools to continue with remodel, as I know you will! Great start!
Painting sucks, setting up a camera and recording.. adds to the misery. PROPS! I want to see the process for the rest of the garage. Hope you can fit that in next week player!
Awesome off road footage, super complement to training on the road. Great for strength, handling skills and focus. No day dreaming on the off road stuff you guys do. Also very impressed with your "handyman skills" for the pain cave. You're a multi-talented dude Eric, You're a pro in a bunch of things!
Loved the methodical approach with the garage. That workshop area looks fantastic! Good luck fitting out the workout side. Looking forward to seeing it all finished
I really really like it. Pretty much solves all the annoyances I’ve had with Garmin products through the years. So incredibly easy to set up and change data fields and it seems super accurate so far
Shipments go out on the first of every month! Next roast is going to be even better than the first. Tasting notes are updated on the site now: thattriathlonlife.com/products/coffee-subscription
Colour choices look amazing! Looking forward to some TTL photo shoots there too! It's very impressive to see you painted the whole paincave in a week, on top of all the other things. You two are an inspiration! (& Flynn of course!)
Hey first time here , I love the garage! Nice work , wow Oregon looks amazing 🤩 I’m from north Cali . So many fun trails to Ride all over the west coast 🚲 how much are the homes in your area ? Just curious 🧐 thx
I don't think they're as expensive as California, but it's hard to find anything in Bend with a garage for less than $600k now. Unless you go a bit out of town. Even two years ago, it was only $350k. But then everyone in California heard about Bend 😂
@@ThatTriathlonLife omg !! Yup sad but true that’s why I moved to Florida!! So much better for real estate 🏡 major shift in society right now , hang on tight . 😜 wild ride . Ride bikes more ! 💪🏻
Hey Eric. What was the bike rack for the wall? I am renovating and looking for a good one to put in my pain cave. Much appreciated Ps your vids are killer as always
Glad to here you two will be joining us in St George! I assume you're heading down for the 70.3 I'm May? Or Worlds in September? Have you both qualified for 70.3 worlds?
I can't imagine how it's felt to watch it change. I've been over on the Sandy side of Mt Hood my whole life, but even seeing the change in Bend from trips as a kid has been crazy.
Hi Both! First of all you are both the best, love all of your content and the stoke you bring to triathlon. Apparel is also amazing. Random question because I can't remember. What is the espresso machine you guys ended up getting? As a fellow Canadian (shoutout Paula) I am curious so I can have an idea of what to get so I can keep my eye out for when Bay Days eventually roll around again!
Love bike tool area. What system is the bike hangers? We have almost 10 bikes between us and storing them has been difficult especially when most are mountain and gravel.
Truly love Sunday when your video comes out!! I really appreciate the variety you put into each video from training, shopping, coffee, nutrition pre or post training . . . as a non-triathlete I’m curious about what the impetus is to get a bike fit and change positions and why a fit one year isn’t correct for another year? Cheers guys and have an awesome week-hope you are enjoying being in Bend and the new house.🤗🤙👊🙏
I started my parental leave now here in norway and have 25 weeks.. Every time my son sleeps i have to see another episode of this. You got me addicted guys 😂👍🏊 🚴🏃!! Keep up the good work! 💪💪
I'm really enjoying the content. I subscribed about two weeks ago and look forward to all of the new one's. I raced Challenge Miami (1/2) and it was great seeing the lead up and post race video. Keep up the great work and I will be following both of your careers going forward.
I’m training for Saint George and trying to landscape my yard and run a business at the same time. The long bike and run weekends don’t make it easy. Great vid as always and congrats on the new house!
Eric great video even with all the house work you and Paula have to do. What is the altitude in Bend where TTL is headquartered. Here in Boulder, where it is currently snowing! we are at 5,328ft. But, I head 1 mile up the road to TO and Rinny's house, just below 6,000ft. Can't wait to receive my TTL Miami shirt. Keep it real!
Loving the weekly updates guys, thank you. Only a little jealous of your coffee machine - its on the wish list. One question for you.....what is the brand/name of the bike storage system you put up this week Eric - looks sweet and am looking for similar.
Taking that extra few mins and pulling the panel cover off to paint made me happy for some silly reason. I’m on my second house and past owners painting over trim, face plates, and registers drove me crazy.
