Great comment this :) You can almost picture Ayrton sitting there watching, transfixed and focussed. I'm sure he would've loved and appreciated such commitment and craftsmanship, especially seeing his own car take form like this.
The engine cover not fitting perfectly is a sacrifice that's more than worth it for all the amazing true to life detail you've added. This build really raises the bar, well done.
Fantastic job ! I have this model in my stash but I want to improve my skills first before trying. This is a very special car for me: this is the MP4-6 from Brazil’s 91 GP, maybe the most epic Senna victory and his first in Brazil. I was 14 years old and I was at the race track that day - the only F1 race I watched live !
Great story! To have seen Senna racing is a rare privilege. I completely understand why you’d want to improve your skills before you attempt to build this kit. I feel the same about my two Tamiya 1/12 F1 kits, the Williams FW14B and the JPS Lotus 78. The details Ziggy adds are brilliant and way past my skill level. However, a straight build using only what’s in the box is still an impressive feat. Watching Ziggy’s videos are very inspiring. To me, painting is the most difficult skill to master.
Just found your channel and it takes me back about 18 years to when I last built a scale model kit. It's so nice watching you work through all of this and I may have to go pick up a kit to give me something to build other than all the war gaming/roleplaying minis that I work on these days.
I have to tell you, Ziggy. I held my breath for the duration of the cockpit detail section. An absolutely stunning video which showcases your skills. Fascinating, captivating and utterly absorbing to watch. Thanks for sharing and when you open a workshop to let in fans to see you crafting in real time, please let me know the time and place and I'll be first in line. This was a real delight to watch, ten out of ten.
Many can get this magnificent model of Senna but alas lol not many will be able to assemble it this way ... the work done is just gargantuan .... it is a work of gold ... Bravo it is right Magnificent ;)
Man I'm loving your skills. Stumbled across this because I used to build models many years ago and wanted to get back into it with the Covid spare time. Quickly realized my shaky hands aren't up to it, but watching what you do gives me much more joy than anything I couldve ever done. Please keep doing more of this. Your craftsmanship is sublime. Im happy not to make any more builds, just to watch what you do. Please keep going.
Absolutely great work. Your detailing on your models is amazing. I loved your work on the Leyton House Porsche because this car is so beautiful and rare but this build is my absolute favourite build I ever seen. Waiting for the next to come👍👍
I decided to watch this again as your work is so inspirational. I have the Tamiya Mp4 4 with perfect parts photo etch lined up for December so watching you do this is good prep.
im so glad you dont put any music in your video , just so chill and relax to watching.because some people like to put loud disco music in this kind of video.
Man, I've always been drawn to this hobby but when I see the level of detail and patience you must have it kind of overwhelms me, because I don't have those XD
Simply beautiful piece of art as well as the video, I love the fact no music just work. I love it I was lucky enough to see this car on live TV on Sundays as a kid.
One of the all time most beautiful F1 machines. Thought about trying it out but after seeing this guy's masterclass...nevermind. True talent, which sadly I am sorely lacking...
Thank you, Great build, perfect details of products used and techniques shown. Perfect length with no irritating talk or music. Will be revisiting when building my FW14b
It is very satisfying to watch the model master making, but at the same time, due to lack of confidence in my own skills, the result is also reducing the desire to buy one myself and built...Anyway, very beautiful and neat work, thank you for sharing.👏👏👍
Superb presentation! Very artistic and inspiring! The silence is stunning! This is exactly what it sounds like when I’m modeling! Can’t wait to build an Indy or F-1 car now! Bravo, and well done! 👏
I feel satisfaction, relaxation and immense anxiety while watching this. LEGO building this ain't. God, I could never hold my hands steady enough for this!
Dônt know if you still build or not, just found this video. What a sweet looking build. Getting ready to do my first F1 build I hope it comes out half as good as this one. Great job . Really enjoyed the video. Rick ✌️
I clicked thinking “this looks like an awesome product to try and build” First thing bro does was pull out the paint gun and decals. 😂 awesome job though. Truly a masterpiece
Absolutely amazing and inspiring! Thanks for taking the time to produce this video and for sharing your techniques. Saved, liked and subscribed! If only all modellers out there in RU-vid were like you...No BS. talking, just pure good skills and a well produce video. Cheers!
