Big Momma (The Nurse Cow) Woke us up with a big moo, before the rooster could crow. Mr. E. tended the cows, chickens, sheep and goats. Then he worked in his garden on his tractor. I watered the fig trees, showed some tips on rolling up a unruley garden hose, brought Mr. E. some water in a water cooler I purchased at a local thrift store and made us each a sweat headband by recycling one of Mr. E.'s old tee shirts. I also made a repair to the cooler's o ring. Then I gathered a few buckets of manure out of the barn to bring to my shade garden. Woo, we slept good that night.

I'm glad you remembered your eggs in the truck. That hose idea has kept me from pulling my hair out. When he showed me that, I couldn't understand how good it would work until I put it in to use.

My father would start honking his truck horn whenever he went to feed his cows. They always came up. Several years ago, a news station featured someone in Japan who had put a collar on each cow with a bell to call in his cows. I think my father’s technique was best.

Looks like you and Mr E are doing it right! Prayers to you and your family! Be safe! Edit : What do you guys think of the Mahindra? I looked at some today

Mr. E. used to have a Coyote tractor, it was the strongest little tractor that ever lived, it withstood alot of use and abuse. My son still has it today as a backup. We did't have access to another new Coyote when Mr. E. was ready to purchase a new tractor, therefore the Mahindra. He does love it, now that he's older, he doesn't put it through as much as the coyote he had years ago. But it is a good strong tractor and he gets alot of use out of it. My son just got him one too, he financed it, so he'll be paying for a while. Sorry so long.
