LEXUS LFA NURBURGRING EDITION PART 1 - BODY MODIFICATION
This is my new project, fantastic Tamiya Lexus LFA. LFA is a modern classic and one of the best sounding V10 engines ever. This Tamiya kit came out about 10 years ago and I built couple of them for the clients over the years.
I have to say, in my personal opinion, this is the best Tamiya 1/24 kit ever. The level of details, extra metal parts included, perfect proportion of real car, overall fitment of the kit, it's just the best. It's the best super car ever came out of Japan so no wonder Tamiya made best effort to make it right.
I will be building Nurburgring Edition car in the iconic 9K5 Orange color with black Alcantara interior. Will scratch make Nurburgring Edition body parts and spoilers. I couldn't find the correct Nurburgring Edition BBS wheels so instead, I will use 20" BBS LM wheels in gunmetal color.
And since this kit already have open bonnet with engine details, I will do this one full open closed model with many extra scratch-made details🙂
