Hello and welcome to BOAB Models - today we'll be building this American classic, the C1 Corvette Roadster from 1958 in 1/25 scale by Revell. This is a US Revell release from 2017, so fairly recent and possibly the best C1 Corvette kit on the market. Give it a watch and let me know what you think. Cheers!

Thanks a lot, Spencer. I'm not myself either but my sister had a model Corvette just like this when we were kids so this design has stuck with me. Almost nothing like it on UK roads.

Quad headlamps were made legal in the USA in 1957. Chrysler was on the ball and a lot of its '57 models had four lamps. GM seemed a bit slower off the mark and it was only with the 1958 models that quad lamps were featured.

Thanks for the info - I found mixed information saying that it was legalised in some states as early as 1956 but not all until later so I gave a generalised date.

You did very well with this corvette Thomas. Color looks awesome and the seatbelts is a good idea to use just a tiny piece of alu-foil. I did mine in red/white a few years ago. And was not that good looking as yours, maybe because of lack of experiance than. Happy Holiday to you and the family.

@@BOABModels Your right Thomas. It was not a realy easy kit. Level 5 when i am not wrong. But yours in blue/Turquoise is looking awesome.
