The 2020 Buffalo Bills broke records, became one of the hottest teams in the league, and reminded a hurting community of how good it feels to rally around a winner. It was a season that ended one game from the Super Bowl, leaving everyone hungry to find a way to bring the Lombardi Trophy home to Buffalo.
As the team looks to build off of this success, it’s enlightening to look back at how some of the cornerstones of the franchise have developed over the past few years. From early training camps at St. John Fisher through their greatest playoff moments, we will explore the evolution of Sean McDermott, Josh Allen, Tre’Davious White, Dion Dawkins and other key contributors. Through interviews, behind-the-scenes access, and a mixture of new and archival footage, this piece will explore McDermott’s “growth mindset” over the past four seasons, and why he and General Manager Brandon Beane believe the team is ready and capable of taking the next step in 2021.
