great vid! 😁😃 i have a few questions.... what is the "w" setting for the usb-c port? also, did you fix the spacebar with a syringe or did you disassemble the stabilizers? and last question, is the middle standoff necessary? i thought wooting said it was optional

@@johngonzalez9621 On the tofu redux usb-c slot. you can move it to either the T setting or the W setting (which is a couple cm more to the right so it fits the wooting pcb. Also for the stabs i literally just took off the spacebar, pulled the stabs up and used my brush and got in there.

@@johngonzalez9621 the middle stand off is optional however for hall effect boards, having flex could mess with it according to badseed. So I just installed all of them.

stand off screws are basically extensions so you can screw the pcb down to the case. rubber donuts go on top of each screw for a softer/bouncy feeling when typing. And on the case there is a slider for the usb-c slot that you can adjust depending on your pcb

@@sunwootechone more question. How do I burger mount, can I just use the donuts meant for the standoffs on the screw on the pcb, or would I need to buy some o-rings

@@Isaac-w1j3s you would need o rings. I don’t think the donuts meant for the pcb are thick enough because they are like stickers.

There is no wobble if you getting the wooting module, but there is if you are upgrading the default wooting

One more question, because I can't find anywhere a clear answer. Are gateron jades factory lubed and how well ?

So if you are using the Wooting module then the stabs work fine. But if you are using a regular wooting you’ll need new stabs, and yes the jades are factory lubed and dont require any modifications.

@@geraldsalas3213 yeah they feel good, it might take a bit to get used to the 3.5mm travel distance on the jades but they feel smooth

The hollow sounds are coming from how hollow the redux case is because I did no other modding other than the included foam, but if you check my pinned comment I fixed the rattling issue
