I didn't realize it had all those lights and interior details. Very cool. If you set it on a shelf and let it collect a ton of dust, it'll look even more like ours.
Hey Guys what a great build!! It was the perfect build for a rainy trip. The best part is watching the two of you team up to make it happen!! Thanks for this wonderful Greg and Clark share!! Have a great Sunday Afternoon!! 🙂
Even though it's not Lego this is pretty cool, especially when they went the extra mile and included the disc, case and all those lights and details inside it. Makes me really want to get the NES set before it retires as it seems that buildable consoles are actually pretty cool. I wonder if we'll ever get a PS3 or PS1 maybe.
I've been wanting to get this set, but I only like to pay less than 6 cents per piece for non-LEGO. Hopefully I can find a deal sometime. You did pretty good at 6.7 cents per piece.
Some of these non-lego sets are far better value for money than Lego. Just as good quality pieces, all prints and no stickers, and the finished sets actually look properly finished off where as I find many Lego sets aren't (odd coloured part usage that stands out like a sore thumb for instance). I'd recommend trying some, i used to be a Lego purest but probably buy more non-Lego branded sets now.
