This project took my two years and over 100 man hours to complete. My most ambitious project to date, my goal with building this costume was to bring back a piece of history that was destroyed many years ago.

Hello, I admire your work. I must tell you that from what I observed, the mascot is covered in plush fabric on the front. (A few years ago, they sold an original mascot here in Mexico, literally almost impossible, but that's how it was.)

Great job lad, I still remember when you talked on the 1988 costume of Barney The Dinosaur that lasted in 1988 but was falling apart and was barely recognizable due to exposed foam not lasting long. The replica of yours in a 1988 style reminds me of The Pilot Thomas The Tank Engine and Pilot Gordon The Big Engine for a Down The Mine Pilot which was never shown to telly. We hope the replica 1988 Barney costume would last long.

It looks exactly as Barney the dinosaur from Barney in the backyard game because that version had darker purple while the newer version had light purple

For a project that took two years to complete the original barney costume It looks really good. It's almost exactly what he originally looked like in the first three videos of Barney and The Backyard Gang. It's awesome that you are following Orian Daggers footsteps. It made me wish that if there was some sort of tutorial video of how to make Barney costumes, to begin with (especially the season, 13 design with the connected ankles and feet).
