Good luck surviving Germany and Austria on this. If you get stopped by the police, you will pay a massive fine, and they will confiscate the bike until you are getting a new approved exhaust. I am talking from experience. I got stuck on the side of the road because my friend had a race only exhaust fitted to is fireblade.

21:00 Here in Australia, you could be sharing that helmet with a spider. Always fun when you pick your lid up off the ground, put it on, ride off and a big hairy stowaway crawls down the inside of your visor. Excellent way to learn how calm you are in a situation - got the heartrate up when it happened to me! 😂

I took a picture of a bike at the Petrol Hedonism meet last year at Sharnbrook Hotel. OMG what a gorgeous bike.. Only twigged today it was a Thornton Hundred build.. Spectacular.. and if I win the lotto, I know where I'm coming first 😂

The only things I would do to this is a quieter exhaust & full length mudguards. Front & rear.

ive been obsessed with this bike for a few years, i had a speed triple, love triumph bikes. its just too small for me. im 6'1"9(1.85m), my second bike would be the indian scout, same issue. damn.

I would love a custom motorbike of any sort, but time money, etc escape me. I keep my rescued Ducati monster going. Do love seeing these builds my favorite type of build is a flat tracker. love the rear end of that bike and my favourite tyres for looks are those mutants.

My mate has 3 bikes and so he can have a bobber, but I only have one bike and I use it everyday to get to work and use it for work so it has to be practical, it’s a Tiger with full panniers and top box, I wish I had more choices for a practical bike, on top of that I need the ability to have a pillion because I pick my son up from school.

I’m generally not a great fan of the bobber style. However, this Triumph is beautiful. I was impressed by the high quality of the parts you put on. Bike mods have come a long way. That exhaust pipe is extraordinary, such a lot of time from a skilled person went into that. Overall, a fantastically beautiful bike, well done.

@@ralphwarom2514 my usual ride is a Harley Davidson Softail Heritage Classic 103, so I have large tyres at both ends. It’s a very comfortable bike for long distances and has plenty of torque. I live in Australia so it’s perfect for here. All my stuff is packed away in leather pannier bags, nothing flapping. The driving lights are great for night and for being seen by other motorists, so I’m very happy with it. I also have a Ducati SD 900 Darmah that I bought in 1980. Love it.

Cool looking bike though I would not plan a long distance ride with it. Be aware of police controls in bavaria. There are specialised units who control sound emission and if you exhaust is not registred in the papers or has no general permission this might be the en of your ride. Talking about tirolia (austria) there is counties that do not allow anything above 95db. Safe trip!

As a result, I am now taking my test and have a 2 year goal to get one of these. I live in Australia, so may have to DIY build a stage at a time with your help? Nice work and keep the videos up.

In the Alps with this exhaust ??? Man, they gonna arrest your bike, your ass and all of your testicles ( if they catch you)...lol Most of the Austrian Alp roads are restricted to 95dB. Nevertheless it would be fun to meet you there. Have fun Jody....if you get overtaken by a white 1200 Thruxton, it was me...😁

Why i feel the front tyre is mounted in the wrong direction, normally that thread design clears water from the center of the contact patch when its facing like the rear tyre.

Amazing bike but as others have said, that exhaust would drive me nuts over a longer distance, and setting off from somewhere early in the morning could be a bit embarrassing. Also, with no rear mudguard, you're gonna get a very wet arse when it rains, AND IT WILL!! With that shorty mudguard on the front, the bike; and you, are gonna get plastered in whatever crap is on the road. As well as the rain too. I do like the bobber style machine though............

@@ThorntonHundredMotorcycles man really , before you go on the tour. Change that exhaust. Those are just 2 empty pipes that will get you in trouble all across Europe. If u are lucky and cops stop you in Germany or France u can expect to need a tow for your bike as they will 100% not let you drive further with that straight piped exhaust. Also a big fine. U can expect the same issues all across Europe. Is it even legal in the UK to begin with? Otherwise cool motorcycle.

very nice except that exhaust pipes, cool for sunday coffee cup but for a long trip after whole day-by-day riding whole week your brain can pour out from your skull from that decibels :D
