#longboard #distance #travel Here I show you how I build my perfect Travel Board, it's small nimble and fun to push. It won't replace any of my usual Boards, but it's for a very specific case ;)
i've built a polarizer out of an old skate deck and some fake penny trucks. the whole thing weights less than a set of dods. i mainly use it to move fast on airports.
All the right stickers from the good brands and the german and EU skate shops 😂. Obviously I'm not the only one collecting tons of skate equipment from all across the places to create all different kinds of setups. How do the dad bods roll on this short wheelbase (how long is it on this board)? Also have a traveling skateboard setup. Consists of "urskog - the Frö" (i think it might only have 17 or 19" length or so in total plus a Carver C5. Fits into almost any backpack and is fun to pump around on the ultra smooth surfaces in airports and other buildings. Currently looking for way to lock luggage with and a handle in front so I can use the handle like a scooter or kickboard handle bar and ideally also fold it with a kind of lock/unlock mechanism. Wish i was more adept in sketching and 3D printing / machining to create water i need myself 😂
I have a mini cruiser that I cut off the tail and nose and it was 45cm 19 inches, I take it on trips with a 70mm 78a wheel, this nano skate alone has traveled more than many peopleI want to install water-resistant bearings because it rains a lot in Europe and adapt it for rain, I really wanted that qwik truck accessory but it's expensive and doesn't exist on Aliexpress
@@skate-horizonsthere are oem bearings called sus twincam rustproof bearings under various brand labels (wicked, ...) that are pretty much much water resistant. Also qwik trucks are on the way to me right now, as my dad was in the US and brought em along. They are still expensive af though. But I just love my skate gear toolbox ❤
@@skate-horizons My foot is big, I'm 1.84 and 90kg, it's not very stable and comfortable but if the city has smooth ground I can do 15km in this mini cruiser,The eggboard is definitely much better, wider and more comfortable for the foot and with large trucks for stability. I have a surfskate Carver cx 32 but I don't take it on trips, It's expensive to ship just the skateboard, I take the mini cruiser in my hand luggage and backpack, The qwik truck would be the solution to take on trips because this way I can take a cheap board 31 32, carry it behind my backpack and mount the trucks when I arrive
Oh, the Trip is phenomenal! It's turly a board that is ready for anything! Personally, I prefere the pranayama. The TKPs feel a little more divey, which I love ;)
What are the overall dimensions of the board ? I have and old deck that wanted to make something very similar, a super tiny ldp board, because my current setup i feel like i barely use the entire standing plataform
