I used to work in a golf and country club and I can attest to them having weird vibes, but you’d be surprised as to how many people just go there casually for lunch, and there were all sorts of parties hosted there of all different sizes
My grandparents were avid golfers and belonged to one and we used to go to meals there. I remember we weren't allowed jeans and when I was old enough to order a drink they brought me a whiskey sour with WAY too much whiskey because they knew grampa.
That sitting area in front of the building….STUNNING!!! I always play with an extra sim in my household to take pictures (his name is Photogtapher Jim and hes been in all my saves XD) and that spot is a perfect place for pictures on the wedding day 😍❤️

Wedding venues take forever to make or for me atheist cause I'm building a reception building but I haven't even started on the actul wedding part at all

Yesterday I was looking for a wedding venue for my sims. Ended up downloading a lot because I thought it was cute and cozy. Didn't look for the creator's nick. Now, imagine my face when realizing it was YOUR build! My subconscious is drawned to your builds. Love it❤

I love this! Events spaces are so common where I live for big parties and I think I may download this (and put it in Newcrest) for that. I can picture having a fancy dinner party or charity event here, or even a celebrity meet and greet. Thank you!!!

Country clubs are totally the place where wedding receptions would take place. But why have I never once noticed those fabric covered chairs in base game? o.o
@@bluewrenbirdie Oh thank you! I mentioned it to a friend I was chatting with and she said she had them. She must have gotten the deluxe edition. I certainly did not, I got the base game when it was free briefly several years ago.
Definitely different for what sims visit the lot. There's bar nights and special lot traits for lounges from get famous that make events happen there. I get lots of ghosts at my night clubs every night. I think certain lot types are tied to packs too.
the second building idea is actually so nice!! i was thinking about downloading kayla's buildings for newcrest but the idea of them being only base game kinda upset me since i recently downloaded all dlcs and now i wanna see buildings that uses packs. so i will definetly wait for the second versions!!
Because of the info you gave about the wedding pack brokenness I waited to use the wedding feature until I was certain it had been more or less fixed. And it's saved me a lot of frustration so I really appreciate it!
I love it, it's so pretty. The problem I have with building are the shape of the buildings. I never know what I want and I try too hard to make them like other's make them. lol. I am currently making a run down house with boarded up windows, oil barrels in the house, the yard, everywhere and broken toys in the back that are rusted and stuff. Trying to make it look like after an Apocalypse. I love this build.
I recently slapped together a quick tiny wedding venue for my sims using predone rooms from build mode because I couldn't be assed to go into all that detail by myself, but I might just download this lot, because it's gorgeous
This is an absolutely gorgeous build and I love everything about it. One practical question though, and this is just my ignorance speaking: can sims reach the chairs outside? Since there appear to be fences all around the walkways, can sims step over that, or is there a spot where they can walk onto the grass? I never really use the low fencing, so I don't really know what sims can and can't do with it.
The really short ones like smooth keeper (I think that what's it's called) sims can totally walk over them! I frame pretty much everything with that one and have no issues ✨
Literally, and I'm not kidding, I took one look at that observatory and was like "she's making woohoo spots" and then like two seconds later she said "I was thinking about woohoo spots"

I 100% would renew my vows (already married) in front of kissing llama topiary. My kids call me mamallama and my husband bought me a llama wallet that says "no probllama" for Christmas a few years ago 😂 I love llamas 😅
A "country club" is a main building at a golf course, where members can hang out when they're not playing. (So, there *would be* a golf course, and if there isn't it's not really a county club.) They do in fact hire out the building for events like weddings (you don't usually have to be a member to rent the building for an event), and it's not uncommon that they may have a pool and/or hot tub, if they're in a climate that facilitates that. Also, some people refer to a golf resort in whole as a "country club".

With the Sims 4, I wish that some venues could be hired out in a wedding setting, but weren't permanently set that way, so the museum in WIllow Creek would be different if you arranged a wedding there, than to how it is normally set up. It would just make sense for some Sims venues to be hybrids of multiple types, and some to to have different arrangements for certain circumstances
It's funny because just before seeing the video you did a week ago about newcrest I saw your old newcrest series and was like "huh did she ever finish that? Because that would be really nice to have" and then the next day you upload a video restarting the project haha
How many times has Kayla started this whole "build newcrest" thing. Didn't she do like a whole museum and library for this same project? Am I taking crazy pills?
I do like there being an empty neighborhood, it’s great for trying out building without having bulldoze existing lots, but it does mean the base game essentially comes with only two neighbourhoods, so having a third one built by someone who knows what they are doing is cool
I'm one of the few people who actually likes the Star Wars pack. However, I've never done the gameplay. I like some of the build/buy stuff. There's some floor tiles and really cool industrial planters and ceiling lights.
Country clubs are also outdoorsy type like they might have a golf course or a lake on the property to get some exercise, and it will have a pavilion or a concert stage set up outside.
I thought the chairs were gravestones, so on that note you have what was it 98 grave stones I think you should build a cemetery with a little church and all the graves so you can have funerals and weddings pleeeese !!Q!!🎉🎉
