The stock sti seats in the hatch are so much better though. I would never trade mine out, they're so comfortable and hold pretty tight. Perfect for street and track use.
Viid dont no where in the world you are but here in uk the hatch sti came with 2 types of front seats both half leather/alacantara but some are recaro one and look so much more bolstered. I still have my stock seats if i want to go back stock but for fast road track driving i have loads more confidence in the corners now im fixed in my seat rather than sliding all over the cabin 😂

I hate that they stopped making the hatch it was the best looking for those generations, but there is talk about bringing the coupe back and I'm stoked if they do that.
The rear end is the best part for sure but the front looks soft oem. Strange how Subaru turned such a legendary car into such an unrecognizable, boring turd as you get today/new. Lame.
Andrew Berndt I feel the same way man. Rumors are rumors, but it will be the best competition to for the type R. The type R is the only hatchback in the market and it has no competition. ( performance vehicles )
Honestly the first video in the build series is my favorite from every car you guys do. As someone with not a ton of money I can relate to getting a used car & then cleaning the shit out of it & fixing minor things on the interior as soon as I got it

Sucks that you can’t run the oem fog lights with the mishimoto front mount, and wished you guys went with the IAG aos since it works the best out of all the aos.
I cant wait to see you guys fit those tires under it. AWD STI with meats that wide is going to feel like its on rails. Cant wait to see this build progress. STI has always been my top favorite car. Has everything anyone could want in a vehicle.

After market seats, run Sparco Evo II and definitely get a Kartboy short shifter and front/rear shift bushings! Definitely made my 19 feel so much better after tossing out the stock shift and bushings. I’m so excited to win this hatch!!! It will pair very very well with my 19 haha
Keep the seats and stretch the upper 2 or 3 support springs within the backrest. This allows your shoulders to sink into the bolsters and the mod is free. Careful, there is a petroleum grease behind the zippered section, don't get it on the alcantara.
Stick with the STI Seats, or if you really have to replace them them, go with something different than the same sparco seats you always use, try Corbeau or Recaro with the same swede or alcatera seats to match the rest of the interior. try to go for a reclining seat. If this is going to be a daily driver, Fixed back seats are a pain to get in and out of, and the bolsters wear out prematurely. Wow the parts you chose are amazing.

You should refurbish the STI seats, that would keep the airbags functioning at least i was told aftermarkets disable the airbags but i might be wrong... but the STI seats could use some love!
