Thanks for sharing this insightful video with chickens, your spousal unit and beautiful daughters. You are a great dad. Congratulations on your growing business. Wishing you and your family a blessed week, gentle weather and restful evenings. Peace brother
Nice work Steve! Use up all of pieces of scrap materials to make the chook shed and then get the girls to paint it to feel like they own it. Make sure that the foxes can't get in, because they will patrol your hen house every night just waiting for someone to forget to lock them up tight. Mark from Melbourne Australia The family are looking great!
A bunch of happy little cannibals. Let's hope those 2 other little chooks that were in there earlier don't mimic those traits. But I doubt they'll ever be That hungry. Hahaha
Nice chook run! Do you intend to string a few ropes or wires above where the chooks leave the shed to stop them from being taken by birds of prey? Also, do you have fox's in your area?
@@LittleAussieRockets Foxes will patrol your chicken house Every night, just waiting for the best opportunity to get a go at your chickens. It will only take one slip up and bang the fox or foxes will be in. You may find that sec different foxes will patrol past your coop on a regular basis so it will definitely pay to have good defences from the get go! A thermal security camera system with good storage and alerts can help as well. Mark from Melbourne Australia
Nice job. Chooks are essential. We had a few here in town, always fresh eggs. Sadly the urban fox took care of them. Somehow we ended up with a very nice rooster, which btw, ended up out on a friend's farm after his rooster was taken by the local wildlife. So we had the pullets and the cock, so each night we'd grab the cock and pullet(s)........ {groan} 🤪🤪 😞😞
