Professional Awesome Racing's splitter diffusers, splitter rods, splitter mounts and skid blocks were used to customize my splitter.

I’m not sure how comparable that wood is to the one I used. But on my first splitter build I made it from a piece of decking plywood (the stuff they use to pour concrete In buildings that is discarded once the concrete cures). I figured the stronger the better. But this ended up hurting me when I crashed. It was so strong the splitter itself survived intact but ended up ripping up everything else it was mounted to. Learned from that and now use 1/2 plywood from homedepot. Not as ridgid but that’s fixed by making an aluminum frame for it. Just my two cents.

Is this a TA or APR style lip splitter? Racebred has these two options on their site, and I don't know which to pick.

Quick question, do the quick release connections rattle? Like when driving down the street, can you hear them rattle if you go over a bump or something? I understand NVH isn't really relevant to this specific build, but Professional awesome's QD mounts seem up my alley for ease of maintenance

Nice video and nice splitter! What was the max power and safe track power when you were still running the stock engine/internals? And what are you making now? Because I'm planning on going Turbo but then I'm worried about the internals can't handle the power, and would be nice to know how your internals handle boost since you track the car and those conditions are a lot worse than daily driving...

I never got the chance to dyno the car on stock internals. Probably close to 300 whp. Now I’m aiming for 450. You should be fine street driving your car but with the harsh conditions of track driving, the stock internals didn’t stand a chance.

Silly question, you ever got sparks driving the freeway from and to the track? Something I`m personally trying to avoid.

Thankfully I trailer my car so I haven’t had to encounter that issue. But that’s definitely an interesting dilemma. You may need to raise your ride height or stiffen your springs if 80mph gets your splitter on the ground.

@@OrenHolzman I highly doubt it will touch any flat ground, but there are certainly bumpy section that can turn into jumps on certain parts of the 5 and 405. I assume it really should not be that bad, but hey you never know.
