I actually like that he's not satisfied with his work. It's true that we still can't produce one-to-one what can be found in mecha-anime, but with each step we do get closer. And these steps are made by people who know that things could be better.
But since wheels are superior to legs in almost every way we will never create a real Gundam. It fun to dream but in realistically we would have to create a whole new technology system to create robots that can actually walk correctly, let alone fast, when we already have a way of traversal that is vastly superior.
Mr Teepawt What "shows" are these? Depending on the genre, you're wrong (it's not just "entertainment"). Just from watching a cartoon from Japan, you can a lot from their culture.
Mr Teepawt Now, that's complete nonsense, lol. Anime is from Japan, and Japan does indeed have a culture. Something that is created from a country: The content is culturally inspired either from lore or traditions.
Well there are small plastic version(it actually has pretty good quality) called gundam, if you haven't built one then you start with HG grade gundam then you move onto RG then MG, they are pretty cool I'm building RG currently.
I'm very happy that he didn't faked his feelings hahahahaha , he didn't enjoyed it but still pursued to finish his work. Well he is japanese so i figured that he would most likely continue his work even tho it's hard and not enjoying it and for that i give him my respect
Building things from scratch can be a brutal painful process. Designing things is good and all, but translating design into material can be hell. I think this is a good thing. Many valuable lessons are learned in the ordeal.
@@Gundam79 by the time of my comment, Wikipedia listed exactly 3 mecha that were the largest of its kind and i repeated that exactly. If there is any difference, that is 1) the problem of recency 2) the problem of wikipedia 3) both 1 & 2. Furthermore, My comment is about 6 months ago so by the time i commented my comment WAS correct. It IS not correct NOW. That's a given.
@@Gundam79 At the time of my comment, i did not have the knowledge on how many robots were created or what types which is why i said "currently wikipedia recorded..." It is a statement of *uncertainty* not *absolute true*. Otherwise, i wouldn't need to quote Wikipedia. And whether the wikipedia is true or not is also something i do not know. There can be a lot of missing info. It has been 6 months since that time and the wikipedia may have updated and changed the info listed in there. I did not state the fact, i "quoted" it from another source. If you have any problem, it is the problem of the source. All of my comments are in a defensive stance because i do not have the accurate information or knowledge on the subject and none of those claimed to be fact or true so it would be a nice thing if you drop your accusation. The only one who is giving attitude is you.
Such an amazing creation! But it has it's flaws, and he was more than willing to admit them! Not lying and just making is creation seem like it's flawless, that's something you don't see a lot of nowadays tbh...
@@nervun8097 That would be something. But also insurance policies would be raising through the roofs. People would demand insurance from mobile suit destruction. Maybe it will become like Pacific Rim. But without the Kaiju.
I'm totally fine with what he has. All it needs is a real good paintjob, some robot sounds to turn down the actual hydraulics sounds and some big lights, neon or leds or something.
Rodigo Duterte why? Are you gonna use it for your war on drugs? Lol kami mga pilipino ay excited na makita na ikaw sumasakay sa isa sa mga ito at maging Terminator. LOL HEHE it
Boy Aditya Yea, well, Gundam was an original concept that was influenced by past manga artists and their work. Gundam aired in 1979, while the peak of mechs and robots were in the 60's.
This is really important. We'll have large robots like this you can be inside of in the near future. The power system we'll be like nuclear. The japanese could make a godzilla that could walk in the ocean.
I'm sure that the next version will be better than this. That's the beauty of creating something. Even as you build something you see ways to make improvements. And I'm sure that all the smaller projects lead to the development of this, feat of engineering.
Until 40 years from now they become self aware have guns and will ask you to comply with orders or be annihilated to a pile of ash. The world patrolling with robots that is a world i don't want to be in no matter how cool it may be.
