buildingSMART's openBIM workflow explained by Léon van Berlo 

Léon van Berlo, Technical Director of buildingSMART International, explains the openBIM workflow. The workflow starts with requiring information by Information Delivery Specification (IDS), continues with creating an Industry Foundation Class (IFC) model based on the buildingSMART Data Dictionary (bSDD), then the model is validated and the results communicated through BIM Collaboration Format (BCF).
