Hey!!!!! I remember when you started the first cabin.....and now....look what you have achieved!!! Man!!! What a great work!!!. You should be proud!!! Enjoy it😊😊😊😊
You're back!!! So glad to see you back at the cabin. Hope you're doing better. Wonderful job, as always, on the new construction. Love watching you work. Thanks for sharing.
Your dedication to building an outhouse near the cabin in the wilderness reflects your commitment to sustainable living and embracing nature's challenges with creativity and humor! And I am floating village life.
Hello Roman, you are such a clever young man you always do well with your building products.. loving the clear roofing to the outhouse.. and welcome back.. take care out there and have a wonderful weekend.. 🚽🧻🕊❤
Another great video! I really like the way you have built the outhouse so far. I am anxious to see it finished. I think that was a very good idea using the clear panels for the roof. Take care!
Oh, the joys of comfort. That comfort to sit while you contemplate the outcome of your efforts. I think you built a grand comfort palace. One suggestion that might make it more pleasant as you utilize your efforts. Get an appropriate length of 4+" plastic pipe to vent the under board space from the floor space in a nearby corner and run it through the the roof material. It would improve your dwell time. Fitting a piece of screen material at the top might prevent small critter or stingers issues as time goes by. Good luck.
Good vid. Man's work is never finished until the paperwork is done. Good looking outhouse. Room with a view. Like the pit and the stool. Much as we use in USA campgrounds. Next time
Good to see you back and building. Was wondering when the biffy would be made. A few more touches will make it quite homey. I don't know how you plan to empty the pit. I do suggest a ventilation pipe to vent outside. Also, a foam seat is warmer in winter.
Hello friend, greetings from Finland. Great job as always. I don't understand one thing. To be able to use your outhouse continuously, you need to be able to empty it when it fills up. Of course, it takes a long time and there are substances that promote soiling...but it will still fill up with time. How did you plan to handle it?
It fills up quickly if you live there, but I'm there for a few days at a time and almost always alone. When I need to, I will use biopreparations, of which there are a lot nowadays
I've followed your progress. Amazing work you're doing. Pretty soon you'll have a community. I love the live edge you gave the planks for the outer walls. I'm making shelves in my kitchen that will have a live edge.
I think the wood cutout at the base of the toilet will need protection from the fluids! It will absorb the stuff going into the toilet and rot and smell possibly.
What a great build,, awesome craftsmanship 🎉🎉🎉🎉 after watching this I had a funny idea if I would ever build one like this I would have made the outside look horrible, ran down, out of the oldest wood, I could find where you think if you go in there, it would fall apart on you. Then the inside look as if it was made out of gold 😂😂😂😂😂 Stay Safe Always 🦍🦍🦍
@mypersonaljournal shower/sauna/wash basin/dry changing area. Now that you have the well water is on site but a nice warm sauna after working would be pretty good.
Danke .
I admire your building knowledge and what you have created. However you have some trees around your little home, that if you get some good strong winds they could fall on your home! I would cut them down!
A. Your hands are a masterpiece of Art B. I am a new viewer from Las Vegas, NV C. Where are you from? Do you speak English? Are you in the military? I am asking so many questions because you are very intriguing to me. I hope you respond. God bless you!😊🙏
I have a question, have you possibly been in Sweden and worked? Your knowledge of construction technology is quite "Scandinavian"! Many parts are quite similar, but the material is different, in different countries. By the way!... Do you own the forest where you built? Or have you built in a wild forest?
Hi Roman, Many Many prayers for Ukraine.i follow the news there. Just devastating.the children's hospital was bombed .I have.no words for this tragedy ...please stay safe my friend .
Nicely built in general, but here are some thoughts from a Swedish carpenter who worked building houses for over 30 years!... 🤔🤔🤔 I wonder about some things about the first house! Why didn't you treat the floor joists in the floor of the house with painted surfaces protected from moisture and mold, before you nailed the floor? I never saw you paint the plywood between the joists! You put an air gap between the wind protection barrier and the outer panel in the walls, but at the top between the ceiling and the top panel, you foamed the gap with joint foam? How can the air pass behind the panel in the wall when no air enters under the ceiling? Why don't you put up some gutters and downspouts? Then I wonder why you didn't paint the porch wood under the joists before you nailed the plank floor? You just painted the sides and porch floor boards! Now it is not protected from the weather from below! And you should have mounted the hinges with a slightly longer distance on the door to the outhouse, where you have your firewood. There was room between the boards up and down. The one in the middle can stay where it is, but move the others up and down! Looking a little crazy now! And many have already commented on it, that you nailed the wood paneling in the exterior walls up and down the first house! Finally, I don't understand why you use wood that has fungal rot on it? It does not disappear because the fungal spores are already in the wood. Now you are building in future problems by using such infested wood! Feel free to reply to my comment!😉
