I rode shotgun in this guy's fully built v8 miata. You wanna talk power to weight ratio? A vett engine in a miata can do some amazing things. He had all the trimmings, huge brake upgrades, beefed up subframe, suspension everything. He spent like 40k on mods. I never looked at a miata the same after a ride in that. For sure. This guy is an actual Race driver with some autocross titles under his belt. He's a drift car driver as well. He sold his speed shop a few years back. 23 years building cars from Subaru to Ferarri.
