↯ Great video, really useful and well made. It would be great to get a 1 year followup to see how the bag is holding up and any further thoughts from you., Thank you Ash.
Hi, what’s the best way to know if your builtforathlete backpack is real? There are lots of copies and similar looking military backpacks online. I noticed the logo is on the zipper ties. Is it just on one side of the zippers? And are there other ways to tell that maybe you know?
The logo is only on one side of the zipper but honestly the backpack comes from those copies. They just rebrand it and charge 3x as much. I've seen some good alternatives that have the exact same features for 50$. I recommend getting those if you want a bag like this. What's your ig? I can send you links via DM
@@coachashj Ok thank you so much for getting back to me. So I actually lucked out on Facebook marketplace there’s a guy who is selling his 45L Hero 2.0 just like yours but in black. I’m from Canada so on the website it’s currently $190 but he’s selling it for $100 so I kinda want to take that deal. My thing is I don’t know how well the $50 ones will hold up compared to the builtforathlete ones. Also thank you for informing me that builtforathletes wasn’t the originator for this style of look but would you say it’s the most durable out of all the copies?
@@coachashj UPDATE: i just explained to the guy selling the bag what you mentioned to me about the copies and showed him pics of the other brands and since they are all the same but priced for way less he’s ok with giving me the builtforathletes bag for $70! Going from their original canadien price of $190 to $70 is huge! Thank you so much for your help.
No problem! Overall the bag is pretty durable but some stitching around the side pockets and the front pockets got some loose threads. It could be from putting sharp objects like my keys and stuff that I mentioned in the video. Enjoy your bag! And get those gainzzz 💪🏽
@@coachashj I just got the bag and so far really impressed and you’re right it feels strong like the materials are sowed in well which is good. Definitely have to see how it goes months from now but if my previous regular gym bags were able to last super long then I’m sure the hero 2.0 won’t disappoint. What do you do for cleaning the bag if it starts to smell?
It's a Velcro padding. I've had my patches on since I got it and they've never fallen off. That being said, I don't switch them out often either so that could be a factor. It's fairly strong though.
Almost empty backpack unfortunately ripped after wearing it once. Very poorly made and definitely not worth the money. Customer service wants you to order a new one before refunding money. Absolute caution!!!!! DM me for pictures
I didn't know that. Customer service, It's something to watch out for. There are cheaper options out there for sure. I expected some rips and tears because I carry a lot of sharp objects in there. Do you still have the bag?
@@coachashj I still have the backpack and I am currently speaking to customer service about a replacement backpack. I am very satisfied with the size and the design. unfortunately the quality.
@@kareemsworld6335have you considered wolfpak or lone wolf ? Exactly the same setup I think the wolfpak one even has a slit pocket on the back side and they have regular backpacks and meal prep backpacks and slightly less expensive I think you can get 10% off with first purchase or if they register your email also if military etc
