A few bathroom upgrades and this would've been the perfect, modern house! Breaks my heart to see such beauty destroyed for yet another basic McMansion. 🥺🥺🥺🥺
I'm with you. Outside of needing a few minor upgrades, there's absolutely nothing wrong with this beautiful house. Whoever's buying this just to tear it down has way more money than brains.
You're exactly right about how this house shouldn't be in a position to be demolished. So many nice features! It's also the same age as me and it's mind blowing that it's about to be garbage.
Ethan... you just made me cry!!! I would love to move in tomorrow! I would not tear this gem down😞 My husband would love this 4 stall garage! The floors, chandelier in the entry, tile walls... all in perfect shape!!! Huge basement! Gorgeous staircase!!! Gorgeous front entry with stained glass!!! It makes me sooo sad to know that it’s being demolished! While I could never afford a property like this, I would totally be blessed to have this wonderful property! Even though you have made me cry, I thank you for sharing this beautiful, gorgeous property with us! I loved it ❤️
@@TheStoneWhisperer A very expensive store with $450.00+ ball gowns. I would have loved to see what was in those dress bags, too. There was one behind the other.
I don’t think we can presume to know how the past owners do or don’t feel, we know nothing of their lives (although I’m only halfway through the video). They may have has a divorce or a death and can no longer afford the home making their only option selling it to a developer.
That is a great idea. Heck let battered wives or homeless who are trying to help themselves live in them. So many people lose their jobs. I'm a 58 year old nurse who has worked many hours my whole life and now I'm having to use a cane due to my hip being bone on bone. In September my boss put me prn and if my son had not helped pay bills I could have been put out or without lights, water, etc. I just think those homes would be great. Don't just demolish them!!!
@S Solaris I think the most important thing to remember is to never take your Blessings for Granted. When you get Prideful, you think that you are better than others and you deserve more and better things. And YES PRIDE ALWAYS GETS BROKEN... Always....
That is not easy to do. Much of these fixtures are custom and won't fit anywhere else Also, there is a lot of labor involved to carefully dismantle them, package them and transport them even if you have somewhere to send them. Otherwise, they must be stored and that costs, too. Sad but true.
@@Dgypsie Sure, if you have someone who needs the exact size and style and has the skills to remove, package and transport them. Not a lot of people who fit the bill.
We built a house in 2004. We are having to gut it and tear it down. The wiring was done wrong and somethings wrong just built wrong. So there is a legitimate story sometimes. We don’t know what the story is behind this house.
If this house is not what the new owner like. Why not leave this gorgeous home for someone else to buy. And they can find them one that like better or just find some empty land and build there new house from the ground.
When I see abandoned places like this, especially when we learn that the owners abandoned it in order to build a larger home, I can't help but think people like this are just absolutely worthless.
Yeah. If they were tearing it down to build smaller, more affordable housing, then I’d be all for it. But to tear it down just to build something bigger and probably equally as tacky is just the height of selfishness. Just because you have money doesn’t mean you have either class or taste.
Beautiful House And Beautiful Property! Another Epic Adventure! Well Done Ethan.. I Didn't Hear Or See Anyone Else, Hope You Were Not Alone. Stay Safe And Well Cuteness.
30 years old and they are pulling it down!.... In Scotland that house would be classed as a "new build". My grannies underwear has stains older than that house.
Ethan half moon window is the word you were looking for. Slow down just a bit for us to enjoy. I will never get to see beautiful houses like this for myself, so I watch your videos. Thank you for sharing these with me.
I suppose someone that could afford this house might think "why not build and get the style we want?" I REALLY hope someone salvages all the kitchen, bath fixtures, hardware etc. Even if outdated colors (I think the colors can be rebaked?) The salvaged stuff could at least be used with Habitat for Humanity
I can't believe they're going to tear this beautiful house down, I could cry just thinking about it, I hope they salvage the fixtures and fittings, they look nearly new
This home is gorgeous!!! What kind of lunatic would tear it down? Can't believe the waste and disrespect! Rent it out, instead of keeping it empty! Beautiful! Thank you for documenting such a beautiful home.
I'm not rich by any stretch of the imagination and even I think this home is really FUGLY! It lacked character from the day it was built. Whoever built it paid no attention to any kind of unique Architecture and design. It's just a cookie cutter home on steroids. I found it very blazay and ugly. It's definitely salvageable, but EVERY room in the home would need renovating and even after renovation, it's still a very simple boxy cookie cutter home. I can see why it didn't attract anyone who wanted it.
I've always been interested in interior design and I love older homes with more character and the mansions that you've explored. I don't get around good so this is the a way I can see what I've always wanted. I like the way you present your videos. I like the "What's up you guys!" That's part of your appeal to make your vlogs unique. Sad that another good one bites the dust. This place only needs renovated. You can see it has good bones. Really like the property, too. Keep rockin, my good man. Catch ya later.
Wow what a beautiful home! So sad it’s being demolished 😓. Those bathrooms were really something...especially the master bath. Nothing beats a three at once “what’s up you guys “!!! Don’t ever stop☮️💟
Wow just wow 😳 This reminds me of the HBO series , The Sopranos house especially at the pool and most definitely the front of the house ! Thanks for sharing this 😬💜
This house is as old as I am (I turned 30 in March). Such a shame they are tearing down such a beautiful house. If I had the money I'd buy it, renovate it, and live in it.
True enough but it will create jobs for the craftsmen who build the new house as well as the manufacturers who make the materials, systems and appliances as well as those who work in warehouses and truckers who deliver them. All of that provides tax revenue as well. There are good paying jobs deconstructing and hauling the old place away as well as architects and interior designers and the manufacturers of the furnishings. So, in the big picture, it isn't wasteful to take down something no one wants to build something someone does want and is willing to finance.
@S Solaris in regards to donating “your own shit,” the problem is their house isn’t the one being torn down, this is. Demolition usually involves a significant amount of waste that ends up filling landfills. Appliances, cabinetry, doors, plumbing, could easily be repurposed for projects like Homes For The Homeless. Only problem is that no one wants affordable housing in their town. But if the owner could find a way to sell off these items at cheap, or even free, builders could make newer homes cheaper. The land owner could save money by offering people to remove items for them. One can only hope appliances are donated for a tax write off, but that may not happen if time is an issue. The rest of the house, drywall, framing... ...typically thrown in the landfill, which is very sad. But where I live, there are large farms and ranches being torn down to develop into mass housing communities... ...so to save money (and the environment), they will offer their barn wood up for free. Random strangers essentially take entire barns down piece by piece, reclaiming the wood for bizarre country art. Not my taste, but it apparently is very popular in some areas. I heard of even a Texas BBQ joint in Japan that imported the wood from here to cover their restaurant walls with to be “authentic.”
I love your videos, thank you so much for the time and work you put into these!! I'm slowly watching your old videos but I can only watch them in short bursts because I start to feel sick from the camera motion. Have you considered using a camera stabilizer? Thanks again for the videos!!
In the 19minutes go to 14:04 check the TOP LEFT CORNER OF THE WALLS. NEXT TO THE CEILING. There is a mans face, so NEAT and COOL is that. I wanted Ethen to see it first but did not know how to upload it to him. There are other faces on the these walls. Cindy
Oh my gosh what an amazing house! Just awestruck by that foyer the stairs and chandelier just beautiful!! The bathrooms were super nice and that kitchen wow! This house has everything anyone should need or what I think. Love the grounds outside so very nice! It is just completely sickening that someone would do away with this place!
I LOVE this house!!! Usually they are being demolished due to mold but this one is excellent condition!! I totally enjoy these videos but at the end I am so depressed knowing cranes are ready to demolish them. But thanks for the awesome tour!!
I wish I could afford this beautiful home!!! It's sad that it's going to be demolished! I wish there was something that could be done to save it!!!!!!!
Hi Ethan. Absolutely gorgeous house. Sucks about the demolition. I'd totally live in it. Outside was awesome too. Bigger the demolition. My house. Thank you for the tour and take care.. Stay safe Ethan. Until next time.
One day humans will cease to exist, all because of the excesses they feel entitled to. We don't own this earth, we are boarders. Probably too late but we need to stop being consumers and start conserving what is left. Hi Ethan 😘😘😘❤
Humans will always be here. The earth will be rehabbed by Father God. Its all in Bible. So have peace in your heart, dear one. You are right about respecting and caring for what we were given in the meanwhile.
I get excited to when you take us to these beautiful gorgeous mansions too! That mansion is just to nice to be torn down, what a dang shame. I wish they could savage it. It is very upsetting to say the least. I love looking at mansions like this when you go explore. Love that chandelier! that foyer is really beautiful to. Makes you wonder where they went the owners? It would be soo hard to leave a beautiful mansion like that behind. Thanks for another awesome explore Ethan. Have a good day.
Tara Hamilton itd probably take about 100-grand or more to update, which in the grand scheme of things isnt nearly as much as what it will cost to rebuild...who knows, the rich live different lives. Also, another consideration, possibly could be full of mold...? Land value in that area [wherever it is] could be very high as well and at a minimum, so even with the house on it, they possibly purchased it from the bank for the same amount they could have purchased a parcel of land for in that area.
EXACTLY....why in hell would you need all that room and no one to fill it>>> AND THEN TEAR IT DOWN??? shameful...the money, the labor, the time...and for what...jeeesus...
People are just so asleep. The one stair case, all of our rooms in the basement where they take our children. You do a great job, Steve Ronin does a great job and all of the abandon explores
keep up the great work. You look like your family. Looking forward to the great awakening. Take all of those son of a bitches down. Guillotines, firing squads , and hang them. Tear that shit down. Because if people only knew what went on in these homes I pray that they won’t even want to be in there. Thank you for your courage. WWG1WGA. 👍🇺🇸🙏😘
Ethan. Thank you 😊 sooo much for your work. Also YOU have a beautiful Sprite. Hello y'all from south Mississippi. We watched every show. Stay Blessed 🙌 🙏.
This is hurting my heart to the core and I want to be a homeowner so bad and I would love to have that house I didn't see nothing wrong with it but life isn't fair
Why didn’t they put this up for sale. So many people would love to live in a home like this. You did a great job showing the details of this beautiful home. I’d love to have a kitchen like that and a 4 car garage. The pool was in a private area. It’s beyond me why someone didn’t snatch this place up.
Tearing this house down is just ridiculous! I was saying to myself hey he didn't look up at the stairs/chandelier but then you did! Great Explore←😊👍 Beautiful House 🏘️
Don't know if the info is correct there's no way this house would be Demolished! My family is in the real estate business there's no reason to demolish this house that's not old for a house! Unless its foundation is faulty! And who ever owns the house would probably remodel this house bigger if they want! Much cheaper than tearing down the house
That house is incredible! You could always lift the house off of the foundation and put it somewhere else. What is not to love about that house. Great video.
This one made me cry it's such a beautiful home to be torn down thank you for taking the time to share it with us and yes i did miss all your what's up guys and I'm with you i too would of had some colorful words lol great video as always.
I can't believe that they are nocking this house down it's a stunning house why don't they leave it standing up and let someone live in it or rent it out to someone that needs a home to live in
I'm with you I love the grand circular staircase and the gorgeous chandelier above it! It is too bad that it's going to be torn down. One would think that renovations could be made to upgrade it unless whatever it's being torn down be replaced by couldn't just remodel. However, if one were into this sort of thing one might contact the owners or their representatives and see if you could take the good stuff out of it before they bulldoze it. Just a thought. The thing I'd want most would be that great chandelier above the staircase.
Such a shame that they are going to tear down that beautiful home. At least the doors, floors, etc. should try to be saved before tearing it down. We are a throw away society. So sad. Thank you Ethan for taking us along on your adventures.
Lots of space but the gigantic foyer took up the upstairs. That’s why the rooms were so small. My last house had the option of that huge raised foyer but we would’ve lost an entire room. I really liked the kitchen and the beautiful staircase and chandelier. Also loved the colored bathroom fixtures. I would say the color of the one bathroom was mulberry but I am an artist LOL 🌈🎨 Sorry they removed some of your opportunities for #WhatIsUpYouGuys 🙌🙌🙌 Wishing all of your fans who will be celebrating a happy Thanksgiving week!! 🦃
WOW ! ! What an Amazing home ! What a shame it will no longer be this beautiful home no more ! Breaks my heart ! So sad ! What a great find. LOVE YA LOT'S
It never ceases to amaze me at how absolutely WASTEFUL the rich uppity ups really are. That house is freaking gorgeous!!! What is wrong with people????
This is gonna sound way crazy, but every time you explore a mansion, I search out the perfect spot for a Christmas tree. 😂 I'm like, " Oh, a tree would look good over by this curved staircase," or, "Man, a tree would be great by that massive fireplace." Lmao! Anyway, thanks Ethan and keep up the great work!
Absolutely one of my favorites! I could so live here. Just a few upgrades and it would be so desirable to today’s standards. It’s a dang shame. Breaks my heart!❤️
