Wow... this brings me back to the days when I used to come to Kenya. Maasai market is one of the most beautiful for East Africa culture.. the leather work, the metalwork, the beaded jewellery and the artwork is of a good standard. And for those who say Buju Banton is mean and stingy.. you have NO IDEA how massive and large the market is.. PLUS, how much MILLIONS of shillings do you think Buju's concert will bring to the country in form of tourist currency? Sometimes people must look at the Bigger picture before they open their mouth..
For the Blind Ones, Buju probably don't have a dime on him, that's why you trod with assistance and roadies. Did you saw the Brethren holding the money while buju, choose and refuse what he needs. As much as he would like to support everyone, he's just one man.
They didn't said that buju was mean and stingy...but at least he could've purchased some goods from the vendors. I can speak as an example for myself in letting you know that people had sold me items in the of which I wasn't interested in non of the items...but being understood the struggles in life I purchased the items and still allowed them to keep the items of which they sold to me. I earned 11 per hour × 54 hours per week in Miami. So that to show me being poor versus Buju Banton being very rich making money out the poor people pockets. So therefore , it's a very shame that Buju didn't spend some of his tour money back into poor establishment

Shaul Paleo All due respect man. I said he put the ‘MASAI MARKET’ on the Global Map & NOT Africa. Honestly speaking.....Do u really expected someone of BUJU status to start removing Kenya Shillings to pay yet he just landed a day earlier and probably even does NOT yet understand the currency. He probably has some one to do the purchases who probably came back with a Kenyan guy to guide him on how to buy everything that Buju showed interest in. If Buju was paying in cash I imagine he would have caused a stampede & if he was instructing some one to do the payments on camera all the vendors would have been on the persons back wanting to make a sale and therefore causing an Ugly scene. I don’t think Buju is a populist, Populists do everything for the camera’s.

I sorry I got caught up in all this mess yes mess because that’s what this is. I thought we were friends but I guess we’re not.
