Tears flood my eyes as I watch this video today 30.10.2018 I remember how we used to discuss this video shoot in gramps living room.Though my ideas were dropped due to cost I was nevertheless happy when it finally hit the screens and the airwaves. The instrumentation and the vocals are authentic and timeless. Till this day that I watch this video it is still relevant like the day it was released. I wasn't home to feel BUK BAK 's epic moments first hand but I followed you guys every step of your musical career from the wilderness. I remember how I went Gaga when I saw performance of you guys supporting Reggie Rockstone at a Ghana Music Awards show in the early 2Gs. You took home a number of awards that night but were beaten on the ultimate by a young and worthy artist Nana Kontihene. You're always such fun to be around and full of life. The only person I have known till today I would say has a heart bigger than life itself. Your creativity and talent did not only make you a household name in our native Ghana but endeared you to countless many across the globe.(this I am a witness to as my hustle in the wilderness took me far and wide). I hope your fans would get to hear some of your solo artistry that never made it to the main stream like "weed no yɛ mi dɛ" amongst others. I showed this vid_KELEWELE_to my lil girl your niece and told her that's her uncle RONNIE . She stared at me,and shouted daddy...!_like to say why are you lying ?.But I can only wish she will one day hear the full story of RONNIE COCHES. The day of your passing still remain my most painful to date. I stop in my tracks every now and again when u cross my mind to say a word or two in the form of prayer to you. You are sorely missed but we all know you are only out of this realm continuing the journey in another space. Your works and memory will forever be embossed on our hearts and minds. Rest in POWER COCHES aka RONNIE aka BINGY aka YUDAFAYA. Love. Abronxy.
We all miss him so much, I was friends with one of his cousin's (RONNIE) back in school I believe her name is Jessica. I enjoy every one of their songs, May his beautiful continually rest in perfect peace x And I also love the fact that Bright has kept the name (Buk Bak) And still doing an amazing job with it.😊
Ronnie was an authentic talent, I remember crying myself to sleep countless times when I heard of his death. He was ruthless with the spitting. RIP Ronnie
