Bulgaria has Sunny Beach, the biggest resort on the Black Sea but next to it is historic Old Nessebar. A peninsular full of amazing sea view restaurants and places to sit and spend some time. Full of old churches , ruins and interesting architecture it is such a contrast ti the modern hotels of the nearby resorts. We give you a tatse of what to expect in this video, please do come here if your staying on this part of the coast on your holiday.

It's crazy to think you can be lying on the beach then just get up and get a sea taxi over to nessebar and have a fantastic meal and see the old town ❤ Jimmy and Fran from Dublin 😊

We have thought of it , possibly at some point. Life is less stressful here and we have the sea and today driving inland it's amazing with no traffic clogged roads.

Since 2022 every year one or two times i'm in sunny beach for two or three weeks. And the next years it will be going on. Love it there.

Why, our channel is sunny beach , we have filmed other parts of Bulgaria but I haven't published them as we weren't comfortable with the result we do the area we know , most you tube videos are just using trip advisor or Expedia to tell you about a place, having just arrived .

Thanks for an updated video on Old Nessebar,I will be stating at the Mirage Hotel in the new bit,I think it takes maybe 15 mins to walk to the old town from it

We filmed the walk last September, starting at the jet port. Some nice greenery along the walk.

I think the season will be quite strong. There will be more than 85 destinations and historic new flights from Porto and Kosovo to Burgas airport this year and all the way from Madrid. Also more flights from Armenia. Make a video of Obzor if you can. Thanks for being our tourism ambassadors!

Thanks for the comment. We just film the sunny beach area , sometimes to Pomorie. Certainly more air routes this year, hoping we have no problems to affect plans.

Last two years weather has been fantastic and it's been active right till the end of the month. Nessebar is great through October and you can always get out to Burgas forcacday. We filmed a lot last September so go back and look at those.

Nessabar in the 80.s was a much quieter place …had many holidays staying in an apartment….just a few restaurants..and hardly any shops ..I loved it there ..two many buildings there for me now ..still I’m sure it’s still fine for those who visit !

There are quiet places along the coast, away from package tours as such. Nessebar is popular with the local population of course.

I've been noticing some unfavourable words on the internet about the Kuban. Some say it's outdated and even bordering on shabby. I've never stayed there or even looked inside myself but I've been thinking about it and I may do, no matter the reviews, because I like the location. The friendly energy of Kalina Garden (just behind the Kuban) has worn off so I'm looking for a change this year. Have you heard anything that might put me off it?

I understand the Kuban needs a refit , several have now been upgraded and it's lagging way behind. However it's a great position but then within a few minutes are many more. Just depends if your solo, couple of wanting the pools for children. There are some nice smaller hotels like the Versis, not a long walk from 5 corners, guests we know have raved about it but it's not the big holiday complex.

I had no idea there were so many ferry boats between Sunny Beach and Nessebar. I thought there was only one! And who was operating the zoom of your mascot while the two of you were standing back "hands-free"? See you soon is right. ❤

There may be a boat waiting at each end and some doing the crossing. The zoom is in post production, just the two of us with the camera. There are a number of them going in and out in this video but hopefully done in a way you don't notice them, obviously going into the cat was different.

We have done the coach, the border crossing was three hours each way, it's not practical as a day trip we did 3 nights. Still would not do it again.There is a ferry route which would be easier probably from Burgas.

@@sunnybeachlife5860 we went to Messi beach about 5 times last summer. All the meals and restaurants were fantastic. Much better than Sunny B centre. There was a wedding on and the poor girls were struggling on the cobbles with their stelletos.
