@@TailwalkBoats what GRBL settings did you input into the xPro? Are you using the webUI or another sender like CNCjs? There are a lot of words on the Spark Concepts wiki, but they assume you are very familiar with GRBL. Would you share what you changed?
I like that bit about adding the bullet connector for the ground great idea .. Just don't tell that Corvette50 guy he will make up the cables and over charge newbies for them
Hi, excuse me for another question. Where you connect the ENA- ad ENA+ of the TB6600 drivers? And it is possible to connect any fans on the UC300? Thanks!
Can you show how you ground the wires for the stepper motors (at 17:38 minute of the video) what you put on the shield (the thick part under the heat pipe) of the four core cable and how you connect them afterwards? Thanks.
Would it be worth upgrading from NVUM to the UC300 ? I have thought about moving to grbl with the XPRO v5 but as I'm running 48v and high torque motors I'm not sure it will cut it. I still like the idea of trying out grbl as opposed to mach3 but not sure what controller to pick as I have already spent quite a bit on my servo drivers ..
Congratulations on the video you are really fantastic without these videos it would be impossible for me .... I wanted to ask a question: but the big power supply is 36V and the small one is 24V?
I also have a problem with speed control via VFD. I have everything set up correctly for external VFD control. VFD, jumper, Mach3 settings are as they should be. My spindle starts and stops, but does not respond to the speed setting in Mach3. The speed can be set on the VFD potentiometer. I don't know what to do and I haven't found the source of the problems.
This looks like exactly the video I'm going to need for wiring my tabletop plasma cutter. But I have a question I ordered the ec300 card with MPG controller from AliExpress. I ordered motor drivers and power supplies as well. I still have to order a 5 volt power supply. I found one online which is 5 amp. Would this be too many amps for the ec300? Is there anything else I should know about an ec300 controller versus a uc300 controller where are they close to the same? Thanks for any advice I've never wired or build a CNC before but I think I have the basics of it. Thanks again. Subscribed.
When you use shielded cable and bullet connector. Do you buy this separately then, since the cable that comes with the kit from bulkman is not shielded....
Thank you for this great video! Do you have a video how to connect and configure this UC300 controller with VFD and MACH3? And another question, why i need 2 separate 24 VDC power supplies for system and for IO? If i want to use 36VDC motors, how to connect everything? Nothing is clear, and no contact info to ask a questions............

Hello. greetings I have seen many of your videos. very good son I recently acquired a cnc kit and I followed your wiring video. I have uc300 but I am confused for the configuration in mach 3
I used this video to wire my uc300 which was perfect instructions, and your video of setting up cofig, but I do have a couple problems, sometimes will loose communication (no motors move and dro doesnt move), also i have my mill head connected to relay using m3 to turn on and a vacuum connected through a relay using M8 to turn it on, this works but sometimes these get stuck on and m5 and m9 will not turn it off, sometimes i can still move the motors but the m9 command wont turn off the relay, any ideas what could be causing this problem? cheers
So I take it with controllers and power sources. Is all dependent on the type of motors you're running? If you get say more powerful motors, Would you then require a different PSU and different controllers? I'm still a newb, And just understanding the difference between controllers.
Sure they are simply soldered to the shielding on the cables. These are then connected to the star ground. I'm just using 4mm bullet connector for this.
Hello! There is a problem with the machine on the controller DD UС300. During the task to move the axes, the connection between the controller and the computer is interrupted, what could be the problem? I use ordinary wires, there is no emi filter.
Hi! My compliments for your very good explained video! Excuse me but the switch NV-STD what is it? Please can you make another video where you explain the settings on UC300 and Mach3? Is it compatible with UCCNC software? Thanks!
Hi, I need your help for my problem. At monday 7 of novemder all was ok! All ran ok. But on monday when I connected my notebook at uc300 was blocked. No connection from notebook to controller uc300. I tried many time to disinstall usb device from PC, start pc and reinstall but nothing! Can you help me? I have asus eeepc 1000h with windows 7 reinstalled. Thanks
Hi mate, do you have a link or the type of bullet connectors you used for the grounding that you connected with the shielding? And does it matter what size wiring you use to run back to the grounding strip. Appreciate the videos, I wouldn't be able to do this with out them as I'm not real clued up on the electronics. Cheers from NZ
great video, but i am having an issue with the end limit switches, you bring all black together and put in com pin, then three individual pins input 3, 4 and 5, but what does the end look like on the switches does the black go to the C and the red to the far pin from the black, or vise versa, or does black go to c and the red right beside the black, somehow my limit switches are not speaking to the uc300 and mach3, help
@@IllDoItMyself thank you very much! I have 4 driver dm556, 1 power supply of 36v for the driver and now i must to buy the uc300 cnc controller. I supposed that was not necessary to add the poker supply of 24v (lrs 50 24) il I connect the pc with usb port. Thank you very much.
Hi 👋.. I am following all your videos you done for building Bulkman3d queenbee Pro 1500*1500. You convinced me to buy this cnc , I bought one according to your recommendations. It arrived with some opened boxes. I trusted you and the seller and didn't check ✔ it parts by parts .. That my mistakes.. When I start building it , my problems started.. Missing a lot of screws and T nuts its in complete honestly.. I try to contact them .. They said it completely checked 2 times .. And the spindle connector its missing too and until now I can't find same to connect the wire .. It's almost 2 months now .. And its a piece of junk infront of me .. I try my best to explain to seller they didn't listen to me .. In fact I asked seller to give extra screw and nuts.. And I told them I will pay for the extra .. They insist its complete and you did not need to buy extra.. And this remark been said by one of youtuper that you need to buy extra nuts . thats why I asked for more .. And bay for it .. I know its long messages.. But I am really disappointed 😞 and I lost my money 💰.. Seller keep telling that I didn't know how to build it .. I am very educated and I have knowledge to do more complicated than this .. Please need your help to take my rights from this seller.. Seller recommended to buy xpro v5 and I did .. Please help .. Thank you ..
@@IllDoItMyself thanks for your answer. I have configured the Nvum before with no troubles, but same steps with uc300 Dont work. The spindle stops when press stard and viceversa. Besides it start just at 240000 RPM ( 10 volts output signal), it Is not possible to change RPM with mach.

@@IllDoItMyself hello, Thank you. But in this case I have set both sw switches correctly. The both switches pd001and pd002 has set 1 and jumper short 1-2 pins.
@@IllDoItMyself Looking forward to the xPro V5 vid. I’m planning on buying the kit you’ve been building, but I get the impression that the xPro would be a better choice for me. I’ve got some tech experience, but I’m totally new to CNC. Maybe a vid about the different controller options, and what’s best for whom?
video is good but i dont like this uc300 card. they say it support nvmpg, i have not seen any videos that its working whit it. And now in new instructions V2 say that it will work only whit standard MPG. And time to time it goes crazy. movement just go and it will not stop until pressing other direction or e-stop.
