This fight wasn't even close. It was competitive and that's a difference. All these people in the comment section saying that Crawford lost or had a draw didn't watch the fight. They allowed the commentary to sell them a dream.
Madrimov loss, he was feinting excessively and holding back (being way too patient), while he did land some clean right hands at times it wasn’t enough. No body punches, No combinations, No sense of urgency. Good fighter but has a lot to improve on. Congratulations to Bud Crawford.
Crawford won the last 3 rounds thats why he won the fight it was a close great fight but Crawford understands the championship rounds 💪🏾😤 that's why he won
The champion always has all the advantage, but Crawford was the challenger, and, Israil was the champion, so Crawford had to do much more to win, or at least a knock out to win, but since there were already plans to do Crawford vs Canelo, they give the victory to crawford, now everything makes sense.. poor crawford, for him this fake win 👎 makes him the best fighter in the world 😂😅 i feel sorry for him, good fighter, but not the best pound for pound

Competitive fight. I did not score it round by round. However, Crawford landed more scoring shots overall; landed more power punches; the better body shots; he was the only one putting together combinations; got the best of most of the exchanges; he finished strong and incontestably won the last two rounds; hurt Madrimov in the eleventh, I believe. I thought the decision was the right one. However, that one scorecard was wildly wide (8-4 for Crawford); but it seems that one atrocious scorecard is mandatory now when judging a fight (e.g. Usyk should have beaten Fury unanimously; Valenzuela's win over Cruz should not have been a split decision either; so forth). Madrimov did not do enough for a draw to my mind; not busy enough.
Don't bet on it dude. Why you think Canelo overpricing himself? Because he wants no smoke. This guy can't be a great fighter and won't fight the best competition. Keep on fighting sides like Berlanga and one day one of these guys gonna surprise Canelo's azz. I don't expect Berlanga to win, but I won't be surprised if he does win. Canelo is the most overrated guy in the history of combat sports.
I had crawford doing just enough, but 100% agree with him. The judges are bad, it was 6-6 or 7-5 either way not what the judges say or how porter had it as im surprised porter could commentate with his D in his mouth😂 i remember him saying 6-1 Crawford and the other questioning him for it😂
I didn’t see the fight but from what’s being said, it was COMPETITIVE!!! The same ppl saying it could’ve been a draw are saying it was a robbery; Those ppl don’t realize those 2 thought processes can’t coexist. So if you have that perspective, I highly view your so called grievance as suspect & invalid. You’re just mad Madrimov lost! The Real take I surmise from reports is Madrimov was mad feinting and under throwing which slowed Crawford’s output and chances to counter and when it was the championship rounds, Madrimov lost them all with Crawford’s Jab destroying Madrimov’s Face. Love it Or hate it, the notoriously decorated and P4P king Won a fight that took more than his power to win! 👑
Oftentimes people find it hard to agree with close fights, much less very close fights. I'm 63 and I'm aware of the old adage of "Taking the Belt". That's notba rule though. The rule is to win. Should he have had Madrimov throw More rights and in combination??? Hell yeah. Difficult, hell yeah. Crawford ended the fight better and with momentum. He was getting loose, throwing combos and stung Madrimov. Israel is a very good, very strong fighter. I respect the amateur record of these Eastern European guys, but they spend Wayyy Too Much time there. After 100 amateur fights, international especially, thats enough. The pros are a different game. I have the same issue with Lomachenko who should have been pro years earlier. I think Keyshawn Johnson should have turned pro earlier also.
madrimov did enough to walk away with a draw i agree. I had Madrimov take rounds 1,3,4,5,8,9,10, crawford was missing a lot and madrimov landed the cleaner affective punches.

Bud got exposed. He got hit clean multiple times and Madrimov was more accurate. Bud was throwing a lot of shots and missed like 300 times. Congrats Madrimov
