On the Kissimmee river 21SST bullet w/Mercury 300R ran 102mph on the GoPro, recorded 103mph on the Simrad with trolling motor and dual 8ft power poles.
I remember when I 1st got my Gambler! I’ve been driving boats since I was 5 years old with my dad. It took me 3 years of seat time before I could really handle it! Now it’s cake! So anyone who gets a high performance bass boat, just take it easy, life on the water changes at about 75mph, and just keeps getting harder after that! The small steering adjustments are a must to keep the boat stable! So anyone who gets one, please be careful, it takes time to learn how to go that fast! Remember to keep the nose down at 1st, it’s no joke! Plus keep your jack plate in a normal position till you start to learn to lift it! Best to find someone to help show you how to drive one of these boats! Good luck! It’s no joke going 90+mph
Imagine if you time travel with this boat and the Native Americans we’re just paddling down the river in a canoe and saw a big orange boat fly past them at 100 mph
First off I wanted this boat literally for years. I have a special orderd orange ram 2500 regular cab lifted 38's I wanted orange and black with silver pin striping. Now I'm ready to place my order but I'm trying to get some details. What is your set back? Are you running the 15.25 32 five blade cleaver lab or similar. I've seen what looks like the Bob's machine hydrolic jack plate. If you could help me with a few details it would save me a good bit of money when ordering mine. Thank you.
I love bass fishing as much as the next guy . I don't need to run 100 mph to be the first one to the spot. 80 is all I need to run without any body protection. Boats and airplanes don't have brakes. I've been in a couple of close calls where guys are running back canals through cattails and don't slow down at all when they come to major 4 way intersections. Thank God I had enough sense to stop before crossing. Me and my partner would both be dead now if I hadn't. (Twice now).. Worst place to be if you always assume things. Stay safe out there gang
I know there was a guy with a 21x boat running close to 2.5” above, no that’s not a typo. Don’t know how S boats compare to x boats but from what I’ve seen they should be comparable
Its March 2022..and Im crying and laughing at the same time..crying over the fuel being spent every mph accumulated, and laughing cause Im in awe of watching a bass boat fly...❤🇨🇦
Geez; the 72 mph I get in my Phoenix to me is getting into the realm of too fast for me on the water and if I go wide open with my wife in the boat, she will lose her damn mind. No fucking way I would be doing 102 on the water. No thank you. There is no where on the water I need to get to that fast.
A buddy of mine wat near St. Charles Missouri on the Mississippi river one day. He was on a friend's boat amd his friend was driving. He like this yahoo had a nees for speed. The passenger asked tue driver to slow down several times. Only to be told this is how tournament fishermen drive. They it a 4 inch diameter log about 8 feet long. Cracked the lower unit causing a catastrophic failure of the lowwr unit at about 65 miles per hour. John said it was like hitting a wall. He had 1200 stiches in his ass from the trolling motor prop. Hif friend was nearly gutted by the steering wheel. All totaled it was 300 grand in medical bills and a 50 thousand dollar boat totaled. And a 20 year friendship ruined. All because this is how tournament fishermen drive. Hope to fuck you stay away from me.
You obviously don’t know bullet boats very well… my builder has a 97 300 pro max on the back and has no problem getting to 100 mph faster than anything you’d bring to the table lol. With a 100 shot of nitrous it’s in the 110ish range but he’s afraid to go any faster as it’s not even in the water at that speed 🤣🤣
Oh yeah Mr j wood ,many times over a 100 in a bullet ,there are several round here that will do it,,,,by gps,,,, mine will hit 98 on a good run ,just need more rpm. 20 vee, modified 225 pro max, gear case custom, props vary😁
