It was fun every time Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling did a show together. I'm enjoying seeing a AEW and NJPW do shows together now. Maybe in the near future we will see NJPW + AEW + ROH + Stardom + DDT + Rev Pro fill an entire Football Stadium for a Show in The United States?
I sat front row for this show, probably my favorite show from a wrestling standpoint that I’ve ever attended. The cameras don’t really capture how LOUD the crowd was for this entrance. It was almost deafening.
The the Prince era was a good way to start, than the phenomenal era of bullet club was the best, the cleaner destroyed the image of the club and the switchblade era is rebuilding what Omega damaged with the elite.
A.J Styles made a spectacular homecoming with Bullet Club. ROH was one of the house's that A.J Styles built. So, it was poetic seen him come back home as IWGP Heavyweight Champion.
Unfortunately, not with how the way the business has changed it will never get as many great talents over as it was, in the 90s and even in the 80s for that matter but that doesn't mean in the next few years they can continue to put as many talents over on TV as they can so that way they can be able to get a lot of marks back into the business again since they haven't watched any territory for that matter in the past 19 years in the process.
Lol With or without that shitty aew Aj Styles always wanted to go wrestle for wwe while he was in njpw in 2015... Gallows and Anderson can still go wrestle for aew if they want to... AEW always pick up wwe rejects anyways...lol
Never unless he decides to leave WWE. But tbh, I don't think now he wants to be hot like this again, he has been performing hard since last 22 years & now, I think he needs to make as much paychecks as he can. AJ is happy in WWE, & if he is happy, then I'm happy too :)
Bullet club is seriously missing from the US wrestling scene, split when they were all at the height of popularity...Imagine hearing the b..b..bullet club hit in AEW or have the guys back in NJPW to feud with the current stable, man! They are what got me back into wrestling after not watching since the attitude era
The modern bullet club are all guys who have no interest in working in America. They're all perfectly content with being rockstars in Japan. Although I'd like to see Kenta lead a US bullet club stable considering he lives in Florida, and the Japan stable is getting a bit crowded with all the talent they have.
How is it working out now. 💀😭😭😭 ROH can barely make content. Impact is partners with who now. Good Brothers screwed who over again and went where. Didn't age well.
Also the storyline and presentation was what got them over, which caused the New Japan and ROH fans to get over with them since they were great workers that they already were, anyways.
Yes people say bullet club was most over when balor was der leader but that isn't true bullet club became extremely popular when aj joined them and it started falling since his departure
Scott Ross “Fuck TNA” as AJ had just left TNA/Impact earlier in the year after he felt they low balled him while renegotiating his contract. He had been in TNA for a decade and then they gave him a low ball offer, so he left and hit the Independent Circuit, then went on to NJPW to win the IWGP Title and show up in ROH. It’s also ironic to see Gallows encouraging the “Fuck TNA” chant since now he’s in Impact.
Back when NJPW was still the cool kid and had all the best wrestlers and did the best angles. Nowadays they seem snakebit and starved for top talent. So sad, I love how they present their product but so many guys know if they get over huge in Japan they can get the big $ contract from WWE or AEW.
New Japan Pro Wrestling hits The Roku Channel February 11! At Roku you can currently see the Jericho vs Tanahashi and Jon Moxley vs Lance Archer Match and many other matches are on demand.
Can someone upload this full promo? They do a fun promo then Okada and (meh) Elgin come out to make the main event a triple threat. And the Bucks vs ReDragon on this show is still, to this day, my favorite tag team match I've ever seen. I believe ReDragon comes out with Filthy Tom Lawlor as their cormerman. And lmao, in the lead up to this match, the Bucks said something like, which one of you are gonna put over CM Punk in his first UFC fight? Cuz ReDragon was a semi MMA gimmick at the time. Amazing shit
Young bucks: roh tag team championship and iwgp Jr tag team championship :Karl Anderson and Luke gallows iwgp world tag team championship: aj styles iwgp championship
ROH was raw as fuck back in the day and literally had a badass roster! Shame they’ve lost that momentum due AEW and NXT taking that momentum away, hell even MLW and the more reformed IMPACT!
@@Taurean_BlackYep, I believe the guy I can't exactly who it was probably would have been Dutch Mantell since, he was still working with the territory at the time even though he had spent 2 years working with WWE he had resigned with them the same year that he left at the time but I could be wrong if it wasn't Dutch then who knows.
