Gotta admit that as much as I am sad that Jay is gone, Jamie is such an electric performer live. His screams are among the best of any metalcore band I can think of and his backup vocals are also spot-on.
Yes, I agree on what you say about Jaime. Jay was good also and hard to let go just like Moose. Another good bassist is the one from As I lay dying, but Jaime gives his 1000% on just about every show.
As much as you talk about Jamie being better vocalist, admit it: Bullet wouldn’t be the same without Matt. And he actually sounds awesome now, I’d say it’s his best since 2010
Technically speaking Jamie is a better vocalist hands down, no other way around it. But Matt is also doing better than previous years, his early years vocal sounds brutal but lacks technique hence it got f'd up
I like it, there is nothing wrong with not only Matt doing vocals, honestly I kinda prefer it this way, seems like the band is more engaged in the performance.
Yes Jamie is amazing. But the band still needs Matt. It’s his and Padge’s band. Not to mention Matt does most of the writing and instruments in the studio
Setlist: 1. Don't Need You 2. Over It 3. Your Betrayal 4. 4 Words (To Choke Upon) 5. You Want a Battle? (Here's A War) 6. Letting You Go 7. Worthless 8. Drum Solo 9. Scream Aim Fire 10. Piece of Me 11. Tears Don't Fall 12. Waking the Demon
not really , the bassist has a mainstream voice , yes he can sing in tune , but if he does vocals in a studio recording , it's going to sound just plain and average . Matt's slightly gritty and unique voice makes him who he is
back in the day, matt tuck did most of the vocals and jason james (old bass player) just did a few backing screams. matt wound up getting laryngitis surgery in 07, and had to relearn screaming. he also started relying way more on jay for screams on scream aim fire onward and it just sorta became a thing

@@Stoyan1Dimitrov Nope. Plays Gibson Hammett V's live and has since the Venom cycle. Plenty of videos out there where he says he prefers them due to the light weight. I thought something was off about this video and finally realized he wasn't playing one of his Hammett's the entire set.
If anything they should cover songs that they very rarely played like Road to Nowhere 10 years Disappear I love Bullet for My Valentine but I thought they were so much better when they were Underground otherwise keep up the good work guys
John U I don't think the same, I love the band and their content, and my first impression was 'wow what is it?' I didn't like piece of me and now after hear the lyrics and enjoy the music and all the 'shit' I really love the album and the why
Mattew Miles well aside from their last album one of the worst their live presence has become crap, metallica sounds way louder and these guys are like half their age lol
