You gotta give Hetfield the crown as the downpicking king. He's a legend at it. Tuck is amazing as well but he's standing on Hetfield's shoulders. Tuck's voice is out of this world though. They are both amazing frontmen.

So nice to see a modern metal band respect the OGs. Metallica is the reason I love metal new and old and play guitar myself. I heard “one” at 10 years old and knew I wanted to learn to play guitar like Metallica. Nearly 30 now and still love playing along to Metallica songs.

I met Matt Tuck and the band back in December 2016 at Brixton, London. I asked him " Would you ever do a cover of Metallicas Master of Puppets?" (Because I knew they looked up to them having already done a cover of "Welcome Home". Matt Said: "Nah not really" 1 year later my request came true 👍 🙏 bit disappointed its only the intro but nevermind.

completely disagree, he used to be great live, but he had an operation on his voice after he completly fucked his voice up, he could speak but not got over speaking volume, and hes essentially had to re learn how sing and has to use certain techniques to be able to sing at each gig. hes definetly got much better after the op though, but his voice seems to always sound like its gonna crack to me
