your handwriting is literally out of this world... in the best way possible, If I didn't know better I would SWEAR this was a book machine made, like that you buy, instead of something that was handmade
i just became acquainted about the concept of bullet journalism and, since i have a dire need for something like that to organize my random lists, I decided to give it a go. The more I research the more I understand that the "standard" bullet journal will not work for me. Anyhow, from all the videos that i have seen your video has been the most useful to me. Really well organized and gave me good ideas to finally start my own :)
Absolutely adore this idea, I've been wondering what to do about my need to want to include everything in my journal and this is PERFECT for separating all my personal and all that organization stuff.Thank you so much for this video!
You are awesome Caity - miss hearing your voice! I love how you say, "I'm a missionary so I'm not really working.." Um, yeah you did! :) Too bad I wasn't on the Bullet Journal train while you were here! x
I really enjoyed your video! It's the simple things in life but I had a big ah-ha moment while watching. I love the box next to your task, that either gets colored or marked with an arrow.
I love how you split your journal into two, I haven't seen that before and it's what I've found I really need... mine has turned into a sea of full page writing punctuated by little islands of planning. I'm going to begin the split in mine that I'm already in, writing from here on out in the back! Thanks.
OK, I'm *definitely* going to do a Weekly spread now! And I like having the different washi tapes for different topics. I do like pretty, but I like it to be practical too, and that just hits the spot perfectly. Thanks!
I love your weekly spreads! and the negative habit tracker! and the way you've got your squat challenge! and the moustache! and your washi tapes! and your handwriting is gorgeous! and now I have forgotten what I was about to do before I clicked on this video... :/ But your journal is amazing and I might steal a few of your ideas!
I have a couple of videos up about my journal, but I'm in the process of a complete overhaul of my whole system, so I think I'll get used to this for a little bit before I do a video on it :P
Thank you for sharing! I love your layouts and you have given me a lot of ideas for my journal. Im still trying to set it up. Also I love that you are in Japan! I hope to one day go to visit and hopefully become a missionary there as well! I love all things Japan. Its encouraging to see a sister in Christ in Japan!
I'm so glad! Your comment made my day! I really encourage you to look into it! There is a great need here in Japan! Even short term! (I'm here for a year) and I'm not planting churches or translating Bibles, but I'm a support worker - meaning I'm supporting the missionaries and their kids and stuff. So no matter what your skills are, God can use you anywhere!!!
+Caitlyn Boutros My husband and I are actually in a season of preparation for whatever the Lord has next. We are going to a Bible college and hope to be sent in a few years. Japan has been on our minds. I checked out the OMF page and the long term missionary description is exactly what we are preparing for. Thank you for the encouragement!
Brilliant! So many ideas! I love everything about this. I'm so glad I found you. And I got really excited to see another believer and a missionary. Not sure why I got so excited but I did. LOL Love your lettering and doodles, too. Now I've got to get to bed, Easter Sunday here in just a few hours and I have to get up early. :)
I love this idea and how you have everything organized! I also was a missionary in Japan! I've been in the states for over a year and a half now, but I'm getting homesick! D':
wow! I feel so unexpectedly connected to you. we're so similar in many ways: faith, taste in pop culture, aesthetic preferences on paper, and how our minds works regarding planning and such. so cool! Ill definitely refer to this when I set up my first bullet journal next month! thanks for sharing and good luck with the mission work. :)
Your life seems like such an adventure! I've subscribed, and I stumbled on your channel because I'm starting my own bullet journal (I'm so excited!!! the book's in the mail now and I can't wait for it to arrive!) but I'm gonna keep watching for the vlogs. Hope everything's going good with you! God bless.
Nope. Showering everyday is completely unnecessary. In fact, some would argue that it actually damages your skin and hair more, than if you wash every second or third day. I have thick curly hair that can't be washed everyday, and I don't really sweat. I also don't exercise as much as I should. So I keep track of how often I shower so I don't accidentally leave it too long. :)
I am pretty sure in Japan once you get there- they are very smell conscious and you will probably need to adjust to daily shower. Very different culture. Don't assume they don't smell any scent. Different cultures in the world judge differently what is considered "hygenic."
I'm sorry about that! Sometimes I get carried away with background music! Thank you for the feedback, though. I'll make sure future videos have no (or just much quieter) music! :)
