This was a brilliant overview. I started, like you, trying to log each activity and found that spent actually writing time log down was tedious and soon forgot to track. This app is awesome, thanks!!! I even put in a task for time wasters I do as opposed to me-time activities. I eventually want to get rid of that task as I track and see how much procrastination I do on a daily/weekly. 2017 is more about getting things done and growing my business.
I love ATracker! I started using it some years ago because of work, and now I also recommend it to my clients and customers. Thanks for the video, Kara. I'll be sharing it for sure!
Thank you so much for this video. I have started using the app you mention this week and it has been so interesting. I have come back to this video to work out the best way to track in my bucket journal... so useful, thank you!
This was great to see. I'm a consulting engineer which means every minute of my day needs to be tracked. I never see anyone in the planner or bujo community discussing this situation. I'd love to see more discussion about this. My current method is to draw a little triangular hourglass and then write the task and time. Unfortunately I sometimes gets distracted and forget. It makes doing my time sheet very difficult each week. I'm going to check out that app and see if I can apply it to my design projects. Thanks for the video.
Hi, fellow JerseyGirl! After watching the Time Bar video and this video about a Time Log, you have given me a great idea for a Self Care log. Same platform with the time bar at the top, but used for self care. I would also add the moon phases on the left side.
I love the idea of putting the apps info in your bullet journal! it's going on my wishlist. As an android user the app I use is toggl. I love it's functions and their desktop app.
You've earned yourself a new subscriber I don't know why but something about the way you film and explain your videos is just perfect for me. I just wanted to ask what is the journal that you have and do you have any suggestions for alternatives. Thank you so much 😘❤️
This is my second time watching this, and like a lot of things to do with bullet journaling, I was resistant at first. This week, and the past few weeks, I have been working on becoming more time aware (I have ADHD so I really need help in that area) I love how you share not only your output - but your process and your thinking. I'm going to give ATracker a try, as well as this spread. Thanks for all you do! (oh - and you should take out the apology for the sound, because it totally rocks, and no need to say sorry!) You rock!
Thank you very much, BB. I do appreciate your effort. Still I'm wondering: When you have tracked your time in the ATracker app already, why do you create a special records in your Journal also?
That was really helpful thank you! I've been sharing my version of the BJ for years (friends call it the DeeDee Book) but I've modified it since finding your channel and now will add a time log...so useful Keep up your super work...and now I'm jumping over to join your tribe 😀
Such an amazing video as usual! This is random but I was curious if you did any other activities toward personal development beyond Miracle Morning routines?
this is great info. i have a question, how do you superimpose you phone screen on the the video? you are such an inspiration to me in my organization projects!!!! thank you!!!
Thank you so much! I am also going to try atimelogger. I have my phone with me most of the time for the ability to call for help if needed. I want to see that pie chart too. I really hope this program will work for me.
Hey Kara! I could have sworn somewhere I saw that you had a simple pie chart with 24 sections and you had coloured it in with things like sleep and self-care and work etc. I'd like to do something similar but I can't find the image anywhere. Maybe it was somewhere in one of your flip through videos... Or it might be someone else's bullet journal I'm thinking of. If you have any idea what I mean (haha) let me know!
Hi Kara. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your videos.... currently binge-watching haha. I was just wondering, within this video you have inserted your iPhone (7min-14min mark) and it shows in real time you using it... how did you achieve this? Thanks xx :)
Thanks Clare! I used Quicktime on my Mac to do a screen recording as I used my phone. Then used that video as a picture-in-picture within the main video :)
love your videos. Just one question, why do u log it in the journal when you already have the time log in your phone app? just trying to understand the reason behind it. :)
I like having the general overview in my journal. I try as hard as I can to stay off my phone when I'm planning, so having it for easy reference in my journal is helpful.
Can you go into that app and add stuff later that you forgot to do? I can't use my phone at work so I may forget to start when I clock in or arrive or leave or whatever.
Boho Berry loved this video. Was wondering what you were totaling on the right hand side of your pages (you have two entries). Thank you, thank you ❤️❤️❤️
